The Patient (2022)
Boring
It's an interesting concept, but the fact that they're dragging it out without any actual advancement of the plot is making it boring. The episodes are short and it feels like nothing of importance happens for episodes at a time. I like both of the main actors so that's why I watched the show but I wish it was more fast paced. They slowly dole out a family drama but it's very slowly done to the point where I'm 6 episodes in and am just fully understanding the drama. It could've been done in two episodes. I'm going to l continue to watch because I want to know how this ends, but I'll probably wait until the rest of the episodes are available.
Antebellum (2020)
Disappointing for a hyped film
The trailer made it look like a horror. Instead, it's just a boring, make you feel uncomfortable and confused for the first half film. The first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes are great. The cinematography is beautiful. The acting is great from the leads. That's why the highest I can give is a 5. The plot is trash.
Passengers (2016)
Impressive visuals. Good plot.
As far as special effects go, they are high quality and I was impressed by the visuals. This movie entertained me from start to finish. As far as the plot goes, I think the story is believable. Chris Pratt does what literally anyone in his position would do. Overall, this is not a movie to miss as the special effects are very good and the story remains entertaining throughout.
Why Did I Get Married? (2007)
I laughed so hard I have a headache.
I just saw this movie and I think it was a very decent film. It is a comedy with a soap opera feel to it. Basically...when I went in I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. There was a lot of "laugh out loud" moments and a lot of the dialogue was funny. A lot of scenes had the entire theatre laughing including me (The theatre was full) and people were making comments to all the situations really getting into it like "oh hell nah" and "uh uh girl" and "you know it" etc. So its definitely a movie that people can relate to. All in all its a good movie. If you actually go and see it without judging it too fast then chances are you will enjoy it.
And of course just like all of the Tyler Perry movies it has a message at the end that ties the movie all together.
666: The Child (2006)
It was bad
Well I watched this last night and the one thing that didn't make it completely terrible is that it was straight forward. There was no beating around the bush that this kid was the Anti-Christ. However the movie was just poorly written. For example, they never explained how they made the dentist incident an "Accident" or at the end how the cop just miraculously ended up at the house in time to save the kid without the police even being called yet. The death scenes were just really bad and not entertaining at all. The kid they chose to play the Anti-Christ was boring and they really could've picked a better kid. Just don't waste your time watching this.
