Werewolf by Night (2022)
Best Werewolf of 2022!
Marvel has really kicked up a notch with this one. Absolutely incredible from start to finish. As a fan of film noir and movies from the 30's to 50's, this short movie was a blast. From the little details to the building of suspenseful horror, action sequences and the introduction of a really special character, Werewolf by Night Is a bonafide win!
I highly recommend you give it a watch. I hope Marvel continues to deliver this style of show to the audience. I cannot give this enough praise.
Michael Giacchino, from composer to director knocked it out of the park.
I hope to see much more of this in the future.
Peacemaker (2022)
F@cking Amazing!!!!
Yes, you read right. This show is all kinds of fun. From the action, writing and character dialogue, it delivers, and then some.
I loved John Cena's Peacemaker in Suicide Squad and the enthusiasm he's shown to this character throughout marketing and promotions.
If you love action, humor, fantastic story and one of the best intros to a show that i've ever seen...then this is for you.
1883 (2021)
An Amazing Western Experience
If you like Westerns, great characters and an amazing story then 1883. The spin off to Yellowstone (another highly regarded series) delivers amazing cinematography and music to the story being told.
Sam Elliot kicks A$$ by the way. Highly reccomend it.
The Book of Boba Fett (2021)
Don't Listen to the Naysayers. This is really good
The Book of Boba Fett expands on the characters we met in the Mandalorian tv show and naturally focuses on the character Boba Fett.
The first episode is really fun and enjoyable, feels really authentic as if it were made during the time of the original Trilogy.
It's a new side to Star Wars that focuses on the gritty underworld underneath the stars and glamor of outer space.
Boba Fett is a really compelling multifacet character that older fans know and know and love and for newer fans coming in, expect a breath of fresh air. It is different and in all the best of ways.
I highly reccomend it and would implore you all to give it a watch. You will not be dissapointed.
Old Henry (2021)
An intense, engrossing, slow burn of a western
I always choose my westerns carfully, most of the time you come across a few that leave a bad taste in your mouth and sours your perspective. But Old Henry really surprised me. From it's gripping opening scene, it is immediatley captivating till it's unbelievable climax. I highly reccommed this film to anyone seeking something different, but familiar at the same time. And hats of to Tim Blake Nelson and Stephen Dorff. If you seen how Mr Nelson is in that film, you're in for a big surprise for this one.
Santa Inc. (2021)
The 1 star is only for the Stop motion animation work
Don't Bother. If you are a fan of "pushing agendas" and bad "feminism" then this show is for you.
If not, watch Wallace and Gromet instead.
Don't trouble your eyes and mind viewing this. It will only bore and irritate you. Modern television mostly sucks. It's rare to come across a needle on a haystack. No pun intended.
In essence forget about it.
Primal (2019)
Just Awesome1
One of the best animated episodes iv'e seen in awhile, which story is told through sound and visuals instead of words. Very impressive
