3 Girls and the Golden Cocoon (2005)
Worth Appreciating
"Three Girls and the Golden Cocoon" ...Released (2005)... This Movie is among the first few which depicts the Bodo Culture like The exotic Indi silk with golden color cocoon found only in Bodoland area of Assam(India). I give 10/10 for its effort. More Movies of such kind should be appreciated. There is so much to be told about the Bodo Culture. "Three Girls and the Golden Cocoon" is a beautiful amalgamation of west meeting the remote east of India. The culture and the traditions are beautifully depicted. He did an awesome job as a one man army as a Director, Producer and Writer. The cast of Onjaali Bodosa, Natalie Roth, Brandee Tucker did a great job. My Best Wishes to Mr. J.Bodosaand his team for his future endeavors. All the Best and Good luck..
Hagramayaojinahari (1995)
A Movie which leaves an imprint in your Mind.
Hagramayaojinahari... aka Rape in the Virgin Forest..Released (1995)The Movie depicts the rape of the untouched beauty...Can be understood as the Rape of the Beautiful Forest by the smugglers As well As Rape of Mithinga (which is the name of the Actress as well as literally means "Nature" in Bodo language) by the Smugglers. Nicely told story and showing the true face of Assamese Tribe, the Bodos. The life and the traditions are nicely depicted. The background music is making us feel the village life. The humor and comedy is simple and makes all laugh.J.Bodosa,The Director,Producer and Cinematographer has done a great Job. Keep up the great job. More Movies of Such kind should be encourage. my best wishes to Bodosa and his team.
