I was liking really to watch this movie on Netflix. But I think, that another actress would be better fitting for the protagonist Veronica, maybe Isabelle Fuhrman or whoever. Abigail Breslin is one reason to don't give more stars here, she was not so authentic in my eyes. I'm in general not one big fan of her acting. The villains are good putted for the plot, they're giving one good atmosphere of that they want to hunt woman's as one crazy game (Hunger Games style), this is one interesting story. But the movie has his weaknesses too, for example the back flashes are sometimes confusing. But it's really amusing to see a lot of bad critics, like it's the worst movie in all the history and omg give me my losed time back!!! That's so exaggerated. It's completely understandable when someone don't like this movie, opinions are always different. But there are so much more bad movies than this one. It's really ridiculous to say that this film is the worst that exist. So if someone search one movie on Netflix to watch alone or with one date or whatsoever, it's one good choose. The plot plays more with the feeling of hunting helpless girls in one forest than to be one brutal slasher. All in all I recommend, I was liking to watch and will probably watch again.

It have so much potential...

It's having one really nice idea of movie. And I love movies, that are not so easy to understand; you should use your mind for be inside the plot. But here you even don't want to be inside the plot because it's all sooo slowly. All the movie is in one home, thats style of movie exist, but this together with the screen mostly dark throughout all the movie is really annoying. I was going even tired and lazy watching this. I just can't recommend, it's my opinion about. It's really not low quality whatsoever. And it really puts you good in the time back (60s, 70s) but the too dark atmosphere (not scary) it's simply too much. There are so much better movies. And the protagonist is not really sympathetic. If you like to be entertained of slowly, long breathing ghost movies then it's good for you. Otherwise I can't recommend. Was hard for me to finish it even and I will never watch it again.

I'm just finished to watch it and I'm nearly disgusted for this movie. The story is soo extremely over-done, the only difference to other movies is that here the bunch of stupid teenagers are one volleyball team. The cannibal rednecks are finally some sort of one cult, there is not any sense or explanation at all. All of the characters are annoying, some was putting me even angry. The special effects are very poor, the writing is catastrophic (GoTS8 is one joke against this) and even the characters that was meant to be sympathic are just unnecessary as hell. I can't believe that this movie is on Netflix. First 'Romina' now this. Who decide that this distasters can stay on Netflix? I don't understand the persons that give this cra* more than maximum 2 stars. Don't watch.

The first five minutes of the movie was putting me interested, but after that I was fast beginning to be confused tho the extremely long and senseless dialogues between the uninteresting characters. Every type of typical character in slasher movies is there: the bit*h, the clown, the responsibles, the smoker, the idiot,... with none of them you will go to have any connection and after twenty minutes you even don't care anymore when they finally go killed; as you even know for the sequence in the beginning. Actually the only entertainment is in the last 25 minutes of the movie, with terrible piano music that one three year old would do better. Every death is offscreen, the bodies we see but for gore fans it's too less in my opinion. The rap* in the middle of the movie don't have any sense, it don't change the history at all, I'm even thinking at least this two idiots was having one last time fun because they would be slaughtered of her even without rap*ng her (JOKE). The plot twist in the end was extremely unnecessary, there is not any deepness of any situation, any explanation or at least one situation that put you good with the end. I was just watching it until the end for can made one honest critic and well, here we are. I don't have any idea why this movie is on Netflix, maybe the director was paying them money? Otherwise I can't imagine. Don't watch. It don't made fun.
