Flight (2012)
Flight is not about a plane crash!
The movie FLIGHT it's not about a plane crash.
The plane crash symbolic of a persons life crashing in on a person. The plane crash itself was what it took to get somebody to face some themselves and their alcoholism .
Want to say as an actor or screenwriter all the performances were excellent, and the script was also very realistic in terms of all the characters, especially Denzel Washington's performance as an out-of-control alcoholic.
I've seen articles about the unrealistic flight sequence. I come from a family of pilots.
My dad was a Naval Flight Instructor WWII my Uncle flew 30 missions over Germany in a B-17 retired by 30 years is a colonel in the Air Force, my other uncle was a Corsair pilot World War II: I'm sure they would've had criticism of the plane, maneuvers and crash sequence
So maybe they could've been a little less dramatic with that but as I said, this is not a movie about a plane flight and crash.
This movie flight is about Is someone who was in flight from facing his problem.
People who have not suffered from addiction or alcoholism or family members who have don't understand what happens to people and the insidious nature of the disease where one has lost all control of themselves and it is a disease .
I think the depiction of that was very dramatically illustrated, but not overly dramatic, because many people have more dramatic stories to tell about how they finally got sober!
And unfortunately, most alcoholics don't get sober and stay sober even with all the help today: though with the Alcoholics Anonymous the 12 steps have helped many alcoholics and other obsessive, compulsive disorders.
Sometimes it takes tragic events to break through the denial that allows people to have some kind of spiritual experience, which allows them to get sober!
That's why I really like this movie.
For anyone who has dealt with alcoholism, addiction, or family members that have because it is a family disease: I really think this is a must see movie! Also hope many other people will take the depiction as what happens to people and what it takes sometimes for people to actually face their alcoholism and addiction and and take the consequences to get clean and sober.
As a note, the Dolly Llama said the greatest spiritual concept and gift to the world to come out of America was Alcoholics Anonymous in the 12 steps.

30 Days of Night (2007)
A Must Watch 30 days of Night
I love this movie 30 Days of Night!
It really made me believe in vampires
It's right up there with Bram Stoker's Dracula and Dracula Untold an Interview with a
Vampire
How everything unfolded from Ben Foster's character mesmerized going into Point Borrow Alaska from the ship.
Who is foretelling of things to come,
Ethan Hawke is always good, Melissa George Mark Boone Jr and of course, Danny Houston:
I didn't even know it was him as the leader of the vampires.
I just realized in the credits that Sam Raimi was an producer
It based on a comic.
Every actor was really good in this many I did not know most likely New Zealanders..
The script was excellent, and the dialogue was dead on.
The photography was excellent. The music was great and how the Director shot everything was just excellent.
It's one of those gems that I found! There are other Gem movies like this, that have been under the radar like;
Pandorum (also starring Ben Foster)
Legion, Reign of Fire,
and Event Horizon.
I've watched 30 days of Night and each of these movies many times because they always seem fresh to me every time I watch them.
Definitely watch 30 Days of Night!
It's believable, dramatic and emotional also a story of self-sacrifice!
As Stan Lee used to say 'Nuff Said'
Enjoy

Love and the Midnight Auto Supply (1977)
Love and the Midnight Auto Supply Hung out with cast&fun to watch
Love and the Midnight Auto
Supply was shot in Port Costa, Crockett, and surrounding areas. In Northern California. My cousin was one of the costars Colleen Camp.(Apocalypse Now Police Academy 2 Valley Girl,Die Hard with a Vengeance. Recently produced Above Suspicion starring Emelia Clarke & Jack Houston (just directed and produced with Colleen Camp ' Day Before the Fight) Father Stu starring Mark Wahlberg &Mel Gibson
I went to a production party at Juanita's in Port Costa. Juanita supposedly had been a Madame in her early days. I hung out with Michael Parks who starred in the series, Then Came Bronson and recorded the hit theme song "Long Lonesome Highway",
We talked about music & his recording studio. The movie is farcical and looked like a fun. Production. In the style in the style of movies, like cm Cannonball Run, Smokey and the Bandit Colleen was in number III playing Jerry Reed's Girlfriend. It's really a takeoff on Robin Hood but they were stealing cars selling parts and giving the money to the poor. It had a lot of character actors John Ireland, Rod, Cameron, Rick, Jason (combat) and Rory Calhoun, in his last movie. Also, my cousin Don Camp (also Assoc Producer of Above Suspicion, had a cameo role and George McAllister played my cousin Colleen's boyfriend. All in all just a fun movie to watch.

Real Steel (2011)
More than a boxing story, one of reconciliation, and redemption
This is not just a boxing story with a David versus Goliath ending!
This is a story about reconciliation and redemption!
Not only does the Hugh Jackman character transform as a responsible father reconciling with his son, but also realizing the woman who's always been there in his corner, the daughter of his boxing trainer!
He just missed winning the world championship but he would compete for world robot championship because of his boxing skills with his underdog boxing robot Amazing Adam:
that had saved his son and who saved the robot!
Adam would become the People's Champion!
Hugh Jackman's character unites with his son as a father and his true soulmate!
Definitely a Happy
Happy ending!
Above Suspicion (2019)
A true story worth watching and will make for thoughtful thinking
First of all I liked Above Suspicion!
I read some of the reviews and I don't agree with analysis. I'm not sure what movie they were watching but they were highly critical and it didn't really match what I saw and experienced!
I thought Amelia Clark did an amazing job from Queen to somewhat of a white trash abused woman that was stuck in the life that she was trying to get out of!
Obviously the FBI agent was some kind of narcissist who had mental problems that not only lead to getting involved sexually with a female informant but also lead to tragic results because of his involvement with her. There is something definitely psychologically wrong with that person: I've seen him on interviews.
Overall: it was a very sad movie of a sad situation for many parts of this country where people have been left out: out of jobs and left with no alternative but to turn to drugs for money and other criminal activity just to survive!
Susan Smith was one of these real life people that wanted to escape and thought her FBI agent was her Knight in Shining Armor but she had chosen somebody even worse than the abusive husband that she was married to.
You can take this story and multiply it by thousands of people and their friends and family that are stuck living in poor economically depressed areas with people uneducated and untrained and desperate that has led to opioid drug addiction and not to be able to leave their rural areas!
Watch the movie for the true story and quit making comparisons of other movies and roles people have done and just take In the whole impact of the story and then I think you'll feel the way I do.
Terminator Genisys (2015)
The film was new ones Dan made the ultimate timeline work
The film was nuanced and made the ultimate timeline work: First of all they're saying it was a box office failure when it grows three times the budget!
Don't quite understand that!
I like Sarah Connor's and Reese of the actors and of course an even more nuanced Arnold Schwarzenegger as he evolve into being more human!
They definitely could've gone on for another sequel I had all the makings of the further adventures of Sarah Connor Kyle Reese and that new storyline for John Connor!
We'll see where this franchise goes: I actually like Genesis more than I like dark fate!
I like all the Terminator movies each added something to the overall story of man's fate versus machine and artificial intelligence: like the matrix which is re-booting its sequels!

Space Master X-7 (1958)
I saw it and it was called Blood Rust
Maybe it was Space master X- 7 but I remember Blood Rust I was five or six When I saw it!
My older sister and I beg my parents to be able to see the movie that was with it The Fly!
I was pretty young to see that movie and I got what I wished for. In the movie the Fly when they finally took off the covering of the fly head I freaked out and started crying and my dad come to the theater it was a small town in Idaho and I just remember crying myself right out of the theater: I believe!
I had nightmares after that!
Remember that when you have two younger children to go see a horror film!
My sister and I had begged my parents to let us go!
I went to the movies every weekend usually with my older sister from about the time I was about four till 12yrs and usually saw double features!
Sometimes we saw each movie two or three times from noon until midnight !
My grandmother also had an interest in a movie theater in Bountiful Utah and we got passes even though it was just $.25 for most movies!
Most fantastic movie I ever saw was
Forbidden Planet which I went to see with my dad on the big screen: it was amazing! It was my favorite movie being an actor and writer I have a great appreciation for that screenplay the plot and special-effects and acting!
Forbidden Planet had production value in special effects and serious plot that was was 20 years ahead of its time!
Nostalgia Time!
The Great Adventure (1963)
The Great Adventure TV series: I couldn't wait to see this show every week
The Great Adventure TV series: I couldn't wait to see this show every week: I loved American history!
It was great because it dramatized historical events and historical people so that others could learn history just by watching the show .
The show inspired me to make a Merrimack and Monitor the first ironclad warships: one confederate: one union: out of milk cartons and took them to school in fifth grade!
It's too bad the show only had one season because there are so many other stories they could've taught history to young Americans like myself .
My family has been here since 1666 from Edinburgh to what is now Connecticut. I'm related to Thomas Hooker the first colonial governor of Connecticut: Mary Todd Lincoln: Walter Camp: Joseph Smith The founder of the Mormon church and other historical figures.
I memorized the Gettysburg address when I was in fifth grade .
Lincoln was my hero and most significant president I believe in USA history .
The combination of an intelligence and knowledge of the constitution and morality and absolute determination to save our union and free the slaves and then tried to heal the nation .
Now other channels such as History: National Geographic: Discovery and AHC and others are doing doc u drama type historical programs .
This is good because the American Young need to be educated they don't seem to be getting the basics of an American history and American government and the teachings of how our nation was founded and the brilliance of the Constitution and its foundation for democracy .
I truly believe The great adventure TV series should be included in the national archives as being of historical significance.
There are many great actors in the Series since this is an anthology without a regular cast. I love shows like that because it gives actor so many opportunities
I became an actor myself entertainer, musician and I have been involved in radio filmmaking and screenwriting .
I have one fantasy romance Destiny that Im promoting to development involving, karma, past lives, reincarnation and soulmates that would be the date movie of the decade:and several others based on real life experiences and two specs for TV series.
One being the conspiracy and cover up of the collaboration of our government with alien extraterrestrials known as the Greys.
I wish some channel would show this entire series over and over again.
The Great Adventure TV series watch it and if there is a DVD compilation of the show I'm gonna get it.

Rick Camp: I played the victim William Baldi in this episode
I played the victim William Baldi in this episode
I've been on other docudrama series on the history channel and others: I found the production efficient and effective!
Had a great rapport with the actor who played Ricky Slate Karlos de la Torre who unfortunately passed away in a car accident not that long ago!
Other friends of mine were in the series John Douglas Ayers and
Brian Jagger! The episode was seen by many of my friends and has had repeat viewings: I'd like to see it again as I think it was a very good episode!
Of course I'm a little biased!
Billy Ray Cyrus Live (1992)
Radio Air Personality at a Local Country Station KNBA: We interviewed BILLY RAY CYRUS at the Concord Pavilion in No CA
Some of this special was filmed at the Concord Pavilion in Northern CA. I was a Radio Air Personality at a Local Country Station KNBA. WE interviewed many Country Acts that performed at the Concord Pavilion. This concert was filmed to possibly be in his Live Concert Special. As a Trivia Note :Lou Diamond Phillips sang with the opening Acts Band. I interviewed Lou Diamond Phillips at that Concert as well. We also interviewed Billy Ray which was also Filmed. Billy Ray had a Relaxed Southern Friendly Style and was gracious and thankful that our station had done such a good job of promoting the concert and giving tickets to Listeners. The PRODUCERS liked the Interview so much that they were going to included it a Part 2 of the Concert Series but they didn't release a Part 2. Billy was great in Concert and I really liked his songs (Which one should pay attention to the Lyrics) and his style and Presentation on Stage of Live Concerts. The Concord Pavilion was packed with enthusiastic Fans. As I
remember Billy Ray performed for over 2 Hours. His back up Band was great! I especially like his Drummer (Being a Drummer myself.) The Bands dress was a Relaxed Country Style, except for the Drummer who was in sweats. Billy is pretty good as an Actor as well> (Somewhat like Dwight Yokum) There would have Obviously been No Hanna Montana (Miey Cyrus) without the Talent and Success of BILLY RAY CYRUS. ( Which has been Passed On )
