Power Disputes in Anjootti Family
19 April 2022
'Bhishmaparvam' is a good film with guessing story, but with different approaches and presentation.

Michael is just another version of Bilal in Big-B.

The only difference is that when the character Michael was made in reference to Bhishma, two factions were formed within the family of Anjootti like the Pandava-Kauravas in the Mahabharata.

Each and every scene comes in such a way that even those who do not like slow paced storytelling can get immersed in the story of the film.

Amal Neerad's story of Michael becoming the 'Commander-in-Chief' of the Anjootti Family in Mattancherry, is not only narrated through the dialogues of rickshaw driver, but also captured in such a way that the scene unfolds in his mind by Amal Neerad.

Amal Neerad's making style does not tire of the intro scene of Michaelappan who is about to hear the complaints of those who are denied justice and the arrival of Mammooty in slow motion down the stairs.

Harshan's editing and Sush's background music combine to make this film a great cinematic experience.

At the age of 70, Mammootty was able to bring the character of Michael to life on all levels.

Michael is also notable as a character considering Mammootty's age.

Shine Tom Chacko, Farhan, Srinath Bhasi and Sudev all performed brilliantly.

It's once again that Saub has a special scent to stand out in Mattancherry characters.

Nedumudi and KPAC simplicity made the Iravippilla-Karthiyaniyamma character duo, who live with their old age and hatred was amazing.

The scene where Saip plays Tony in Big B is almost the same as repeated in 'Bhishmaparva' and felt like a stone bite.

Salute (2022)
7/10
The story away from the familiar police detective films.
17 April 2022
The salute had a very slow start and presentation, away from the familiar police detective films.

I started watching the movie with prejudice as the posters and trailer were full of clichs of a police investigation thriller.

Despite the slow pace, the plot of the film began to feel complicated as we went along.

The story of 'Salute' is not about the investigation of a murder case, but of some of the uncertainties created by the pressures that the police characters have to face in connection with a murder case and the manipulations and omissions that they have to make in the investigation of the case.

The film works out well as the official differences of opinion created by the investigation of this case between the siblings working in the same department lead them to personal alienation.

The character of DYSP Ajith Karunakaran in the movie Salute gave Manoj K Jayan another chance to do a great work after a long time.

It can be said that Manoj K Jayan's character has more performance potential than Dulquar's hero role.

In 'Salute', Manoj K Jayan is portrayed as a brother who keeps his love for his brother on one side and a DYSP who openly expresses his official hatred towards the same brother on the other side.

While in the genre of investigation thriller, the film shifts into the mood of an emotional drama in many places too.

In Dulquar's SI Aravind Karunakaran, you can see a helpless and frustrated investigating officer who has changed his face from the familiar face of a police detective.

Dulquer did not play the role of a policeman as expected before he was seen. Also, many may not be able to contain 'Salute' when it comes to a climax that ends in the opposite of the regular detective movies. But I liked it.

Baby (I) (2015)
7/10
The film is a clean thriller.
11 November 2021
If most of the films on terrorism and extremism are about Pakistan, Baby is telling a different story.

Baby introduces the villain who, while sitting in the neighboring countries, is strategizing against India, Pakistan and the United States at the same time, realizing that terrorism is only relevant in both countries if the enmity between India and Pakistan increases.

The main villain in the film and his organization represent the terrorist organizations and leaders who convey misleading messages and calls, thereby recruiting people to the organization and then gaining financial power through foreign funds.

Often, by deliberately or unknowingly harboring such terrorists in some of our own neighboring countries and the Middle East, the film subtly raises a great concern that the terrorists are also getting an environment in which they can live safely away from Indian law and punishment for life.

Baby creates big exaggerations in some places while combining all the qualities needed for a thriller movie like fast scenes, shots and powerful dialogues to go with it.

Although the film easily shows the secret missions to a country like Saudi Arabia, not everyone who sees it can comprehend its potential beyond a certain limit. However, considering the imagination used in this secret mission, some are happy to accept.

Akshay Kumar's marvellous performance.

Danny, Anupam Kher, KK Menon and Rashid Nass in the lead roles.

Best Story-Screenplay-Dialogue-Direction and Sanjay Chaudhary's exciting BGM are very nice.

PK (2014)
8/10
A good movie with novelty of the presentation, the performance of Aamir Khan and the excellent direction of Rajkumar Hirani.
11 November 2021
The film aims to discuss various issues with the audience through the observations of PK (Aamir Khan) who arrives on Earth from an alien planet.

PK comes to earth naked. PK is curious about the way humans dress, as aliens have no clothing concept. When PK realizes that people dress differently according to the work they do and the environment in which they live, and that in itself men and women dress differently, it's not just a matter of dressing up, but an interesting reminder of the subtleties that man has in dressing.

While enjoying, the main reason why a group of viewers label PK as anti-religious and atheist is only because of some doubts and questions that PK raises about the various religious concepts and rituals of human beings.

Some audiences have accused the director of using Hindu deities and rituals for satire.

There is one thing these people need to understand. The film progresses through PK's views and observations. There is no doubt that the majority of the religions and cults of the country of India where PK arrives are associated with Hindutva. PK only underscores the fact that religions that try to know the same God in many ways are polluted by human intervention. PK himself says that everyone is a creation of God.

It is clear from this that PK is not an atheist. God has no role to play in fostering sectarianism among human beings. When PK says that God does not send anyone to earth after labeling a religion, it is not a word of anti-religion but a borrowing of the word of the true God, who values humanity.

PK is a film that is sure a good rave reviews due to the novelty of the presentation, the performance of Aamir Khan and the excellent direction of Rajkumar Hirani.

Madras (2014)

A film that excelled from the beginning to the end of the film in terms of presentation style and performance of the actors.
2 November 2021
"Madras" is a film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith.

The spirit of the film is the intensity of the deep friendly relationship between the characters Kali (Karthi) and Anp (Kalaiyarasan).

The director manages to overcome all the pitfalls of presenting friendship, love, politics and hatred in the same thread through deep character creation.

The movie mainly tells the story of the problems and betrayals faced by the common man who emotionally embraces party politics without even understanding the main agenda of the political parties to exploit the social system of democracy in the most convenient way for their own convenience.

The film begins with a series of political struggles in which two factions have to be martyred in an ongoing dispute over a seemingly insignificant wall. Those who walk shoulder to shoulder for trivial things wield each other's swords.

The dispute over that wall does not end with the passing of generations. Even the image of a political leader painted on the wall is gaining relevance later in the film. As some of the stories spread around it, the wall becomes an integral part of the story.

It is impossible not to appreciate the director's excellence in adapting some of these things in the story that seem trivial and irrelevant at first glance in a serious and relevant way in the film's forward journey.

By reducing the number of close-up shots, the cameraman is able to draw the audience's attention to various parts of the scene through wide and long shot scenes.

A film that excelled from the beginning to the end of the film in terms of presentation style and performance of the actors.

A film set in Afghanistan without any particular story or a twist.
2 November 2021
A film set in Afghanistan without any particular story or twist.

Apart from being a Rs 100 crore film by Kamal Haasan, there is nothing special about this film.

The only attraction of this film is the excellence of the action scenes and the novelty of storytelling in the context of Afghanistan.

Kamal Haasan has portrayed the terrorist training in the Taliban camps and their training methods in a very authentic way in the film.

It can be said that Kamal Haasan succeeded in portraying some scenes in the Taliban training center in its own horror.

Nowhere in the film is there any religious insults or scenes that portray Islam in a bad light.

Compared to the previous films of the great actor Kamal Haasan, this film did not give him a chance to act well.

A good suspense thriller film set against the backdrop of the 1987 period.
31 October 2021
A good suspense thriller film set against the backdrop of the 1987 period, telling the story with suspense from beginning to end. The film manages to capture the essence of old-fashioned Delhi, Mumbai and other cities.

When telling a story on a suspense thriller label, the director does not forget to include all the restraints and other ingredients in the film.

Many people had given their heads to fake raids without even knowing who came and what they are raiding.

Neeraj Pandey has written the story and screenplay of the film based on the real life experiences of some prominent personalities who faced such a fake CBI ride.

Some moments, we assumed that everything that is shown in the movie may actually have happened in the past. Because every scene is so authentic.

The director very clearly portrays the plight of the people who fall victim to the ride. Undoubtedly, the director was an important factor in the success of the film.

Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Manoj Bajpayee have done well as.

Naan (2012)

The movie has moved a little bit away from the regular story of such films in Tamil.
31 October 2021
Starring Vijay Antony, Siddharth Venugopal and Rupa Manjari in the lead roles, the film is directed by Jeeva Shankar.

Jeeva has made this film after learning all the homework required for a crime thriller film! In terms of acting, everyone has put in a great performance.

Naan tells the story of a young man named Karthik, who excelled in his studies from an early age, has to face many unexpected things in his life.

The film takes the audience through the complexities and problems he experiences.

He is on his way to Chennai, accidentally gets into a bus accident. Then he finds out that the young man sitting in the next seat is dead, Karthik grabs the box containing his certificates and money without thinking right or wrong.

Karthik, who is starting to live at the address of the deceased, had many challenges to overcome.

The film then shows how Karthik faces those challenges.

If we leave the logic in some scenes, we can see that it has moved a little bit away from the regular story of such films in Tamil.

Thuppakki (2012)

An action thriller film that stands apart from Vijay's regular movies.
31 October 2021
Written and directed by Muruga Dos, Thuppakki cannot be considered like Vijay's previous films.

It is comforting to note that this film is a change from other Tamil films. The story background is used in the film in a very good way.

The director has taken special care not to confine the communication of the characters to the Tamil language while telling a story set in Mumbai. It is also noteworthy that most of the characters speak Hindi in context. In ordinary Tamil movies, it has been observed that in any country where the story takes place, the characters speak only Tamil. That situations are rectified in this film. The fact is that the director was able to make changes in the film according to the story.

The director has tried to present a good story and script in a good way.

The rivalry between the hero and the villain is also strongly presented with a thrilling character. In short, there are few scenes in this film that question common logic.

Santosh Sivan's cinematography is excellent.

The film is full of songs that are both necessary and unnecessary, which is a tradition that makes the audience tired. Beautiful choreography is another thing to be admired in cinema.

While Vijay's lead role is praised, Vidwat Jamwal's villain role is also to be applauded. The villain in the film is such a brilliant performer.

This movie may have been seen as a good feminist movie.
30 October 2021
Ashiq Abu, the director of the life story of Tessa, a nursing student from Kottayam, is very well portrayed in the film.

Tessa and Cyril lead the film in a living together style that conveys the idea that a woman does not need a marriage relationship to live with someone.

Rima, Fahad and other actresses deserve congratulations for their acting. TG Ravi has acted well in the role he got.

This movie may have been seen as a good feminist movie.

The film shows that the new generation of girls, especially those studying outside Kerala, are willing to drink toddy and share a bed with someone or some big man to get some pocket money. The director has exposed a green truth in today's female society in the film.

At the end of the movie, the vengeful heroine, after having her penis surgically cut off, the conversations between them did not go well enough.

Especially since it was revealed that the hero still has a crush on the heroine, a way of ending the film did not seem so good.

Pizza (II) (2012)

A good suspense thriller film that kept the novelty in presentation and theme.
29 October 2021
The director Karthik Subba Raj presents the audience with a different kind of cinematic enjoyment and he has won the applause of the audience with his debut film.

The director, the actors and the cast alike have succeeded in making 'Pizza' a mere low budget film, both in its expertise and direction as well as in every field.

Michael (Vijay Sethupathi), an employee of a pizza shop, lives with his girlfriend Anu (Ramya Nambeesan).

Anu is also a novelist who does research on ghosts and demons. She often scares Michael, who says he has no faith in supernatural powers, by showing him horror movies and telling stories, but Michael did not give much importance to it.

Meanwhile, Michael goes to a secluded house for a pizza delivery.

The story progresses through the strange and terrifying circumstances that Michael faces there.

The story of Pizza cannot be told all at once as it is told in other movies.

The backbone of the film is a different and innovative script that narrates the story within the story.

At the end of the story, the audience will have many doubts.

Not only does the director not bother to answer all these doubts but it also makes it the task of the audience to find the answers.

This is where the audience gets a chance to see the film in different ways.

It goes without saying that Vijay Sethupathi's excellent performance is a major factor in the success of this film.

A good suspense thriller film that kept the novelty in presentation and theme.

A feel good fantasy movie to enjoy.
29 October 2021
In a single word Anugrahitan Antony is a feel good fantasy movie to enjoy.

"You just have to become a soul and beat the tension. It is better to try to be blessed while you are still alive." The film manages to entertain as well as inform this.

The film tells the story of Antony through the teaser of a love story!

But the filim explite the pain of unexpected death, lost life and unfulfilled desires.

Varghese Mash will stand out in Siddique's father roles so far. There is more to that character performance than the pain of a father who lost his son.

Though small, the characters of Suraj and Baiju gave strength to the film. Jafar Idukki is proving once again that he is a good range actor.

This is not just a boxing movie created with a single hero concept.
25 October 2021
This is not just a boxing movie created with a single hero concept.

The film is set in the 1970s and '80s, adorned with Madras-style artwork, casting of each characters and performance in the film are perfectly fit.

The presentation is such that all the actors become the heroines of the film with their performances. Therefore, even characters with a negative atmosphere have a head start in this movie.

Kabilan in this movie has topped all the character performances in Arya's career best films.

Most of the characters in the film will be remembered, including Vempuli, Raman, Dancing Rose, Vadhyar, Daddy, Meeran, Vetri, Kabilan's mother and wife Mariamma.

Not only does it tell the story of the boxing matches that once existed in Madras, but it also tells the story by connecting the political and social systems of the time. PA Ranjith was able to.

Mari Selva Raj Karnan has been portrayed as a fighting face of dalit politics.
25 October 2021
Mari Selvaraj's identity politics are also strongly marked in 'Karnan'. If the story background of Pariyerum Perumal was the village of Puliyankulam, then when it reach Karnan, is Podiyankulam.

Mari Selva Raj Karnan has been portrayed as a fighting face of dalit politics.

In this movie, the hero concept is the savior position of a village and heroism.

Giving an accurate answer to the comforting word that caste inequality may change tomorrow, is the hero in this filim.

Here, while portraying Dhanush as the hero and leader of a people in a cinematic way, it is sure that Karna is missing out on a classy cinematic experience gained from Pariyerum Perumal.

'Karnan' is the recall the story of a dalit village that was vandalized and looted by more than 600 policemen in 1995 riots in Kodiyankulam village in Thoothukudi district.

The film deals with the complexities and rhythms of family relationships more than a family story.
25 October 2021
Manu Ashok's 'Kanekkane' is just that the film deals with the complexities and rhythms of family relationships more than a family story.

It is noteworthy that Bobby Sanjay's screenplay is not written in a way that binds the minds of the audience to any one side by pointing out the differences between right and wrong.

The Complexity of human minds are mainly discussed in this presentation, which gives the mood of a family film and a detective film at the same time.

The film explores how a person can be both good and bad when he regains his thoughts and actions from right to wrong within the family system.

In the film, which is full of the pain of a father who lost his daughter, the director convinces us of the situation and the mental tension of those who felt guilty when we had to stay with that father till the very end.

Alan-Sneha-Paul Matthew There is also an emotional wave of love, hatred, fear and pain between the characters.

If the question of whether we can evaluate the complexities and perceptions of the human mind beyond human error and justice can be raised humanely and justifiably, then Suraj's 'Paul Mathai' can be marked as the answer.

Paul Mathai became another major character in Suraj's career when he accurately portrayed the pain of his father who lost his daughter and the hatred and animosity he felt towards those responsible for his daughter's death through his body language and expressions without being overly emotional. Tovino's Alan can be considered as the most mature actor in his career.

The mental thoughts, conflicts and guilt of that character are not small. Tovino handled beautifully at the same time Alan, who was swelled with guilt that could never be freed, and Alan, who was happy in the flashback, and Alan, who was finally bursting into tears. Aishwarya also stood out with similar performances.

The actor and the director succeed when the audience experiences the mental conflicts of the characters through performance and presentation. That's the success of 'Kanekkane'.

The battle between Dalapati and Makkal Selvan
13 April 2021
The first film Dalapati Vijay and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi together, and it is directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj.

The story is set in Nagercoil in 2002. The movie started with how 17-year-old Bhavani became a Mafia Monster at the height of his helplessness and despair.

Then comes the movie Chennai in 2019. Vijay becomes JD's typical intro scene.

JD is a professor at a college in Chennai. Despite being in the eyes of students, it is an eye-opener for college management and colleagues. Because of his depraved drinking habits and systemic actions.

Point's deals are what make him look like a student at first glance.

At a certain turning point in his life, Bhavani becomes an obstacle to Bhavani's activities and Bhavani becomes an obstacle to the activities of the JD.

Both are intertwined. The film progresses in the context of a remedial school.

Ultimately, the movie is about the battle between good and evil.

The action scenes in Stunt Silva's choreography have been given good prominence.

Throughout the film, there are mass scenes that will satisfy the fans of Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. The highlight of the film is the dazzling presence and performance of Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi.

While Vijay is able to keep his stardom one hundred percent with heroism, Sethupathi gets his hands dirty by making a brutal villain completely cool with his own informalities.

Joji (2021)

The motto of the movie will stick in mind even after the movie.
7 April 2021
This story is happening in a lush town of Erumeli. The most striking elements are visuals like rubber plantation, pond and shades. And excellent BGM, that escalates the mood of the film.

The story of Panackal family. Patriarch Kuttappan, the old man staunchly safeguards of his health and wealth.

His eldest son Jomon (Baburaj) is a chronic alcoholic and a divorcee.

Jomon's brother Jaison (Joji Mundakayam) is a married man and he is running the family business. His wife Bincy (Unnimaya Prasad) is a homemaker.

The youngest is Joji (Fahadh Faasil) has material desires and an indistinct wish to migrate abroad.

Apart from them, Shammi Thilakan and Joji Mundakkayam all performed well.

The cinematography of Shyju Khalid and the music of Justin Varghese have helped a lot in raising the level of cinema.

Although the director says that Macbeth is the inspiration for this film, we can see the theoretical influence of King Lear on the father and children of PK Kuttappan.

Macbeth decides to kill each one every time to protect his throne.

For Macbeth, murder is a means existence. This is the basic resemblance between Joji and Macbeth.

The ambience that Pothan sets around Joji and his family is placid. The unique equations that he shares with every member of the family stand potently expressed as Fahadh confidently controls the reigns.

The Phone conversation between Joji's cousin, who was waiting for his father's death, and the conversation between Baburaj and Basil are very well.

The film manages to capture the essence of black humor in a beautiful way, in some places it seems to linger in the midst of crime drama.

The fact that there is nothing to entertain a normal audience may seem negative to many. But Joji is a film that has completely satisfied the audience like me.

Giving a little break to the characters with psycho styles would be good for Fahad's career.

Finally, we can see a Shyam Pushkaran-Dileesh Pothen Brilliance who wrote a poetic justice beyond the climax scene in this movie.

"Society is just a mayirr." The motto will stick in my mind even after the movie.

A visual festival that celebrates the audience
3 April 2021
This is Dulquar's 25th film.

I was watching the movie with the prejudice that it is a 100% romantic movie because of this feature and the name. The first part of the film is almost feels like that.

But seeing a U-turn twist at the interval is changing an another level of film.

A tight-knit, fully-fledged entertainer who can sit in the theater for two and a half hours without getting bored at all. Interesting Cat and mouse game between thief and cop, thief and thief.

Siddharth and Kalisaran, the main characters in the movie are two barren chunks who are only seen in these kind of movies.

Two engineering graduates, nicknamed Sid and Kallis. One is an app developer and the other is an animator.

The Engineering, app and animation are just a face cover for them. We soon find out that both of them are cyber criminals.

Then a poor girl named Meera enters Sidhu's life. Then her friend comes in to the life of Kallis. Then the twist comes as the love story progresses in a whole family setup. This will change the gear of this Movie.

The backbone of the film is the smart script and making.

The high-tech robberies planned by the hero are items that will blow the audience away. Don't go behind logic while watching.

Ritu Varma is the heroine of Dulquar. She is not just a duet romance.

As a package, Dulquer, Ritu Rakshan and Neeranjani have been given maximum color.

But what shocked the film was DCP Pratap Chakraborty - The Gautam Vasudev Menon!

Sharp eyes and body language. Menon's explosive performance can sometimes make it seem as if Pratap Chakraborty is the hero.

Later we think the character was not given enough space in the second half, the smashing tribute given to Menon by the director at the tail end is absolutely thrilling.

Jayasurya's willingness to take on such a role is really appreciating.
31 March 2021
Vellam- The Essential Drink is written and directed by Prajesh Sen. He is the man who came into Malayalam cinema by telling the story of Indian football team captain VP Sathyan and directing Jayasurya's career best film and character Captain.

This is his second film, again Jayasurya with him. That is the matter for the great anticipation of audience.

The story of a typical alcoholic to be found in any rural area of Kerala.

The hero introduces himself as Murali Nambiar somewhere in the movie! But among the people his name is Waterman.

That is the water that is mentioned in the title of the film!!

The background of the film and Murali's life is some inland village in Kannur.

The movie starts with Murali jumping into a well and trying to commit suicide.

The flashback of Murali's life so far comes as fire force and local people pick him up from the well and take him to the hospital.

Flashback is a long flashback of more than one hour and forty minutes in a two and a half hour movie. The rest of the turnaround takes place over the remaining quarter of an hour

Usually the story of alcoholics is come in to the script, they often show a strong or weak reason for doing so. But there is no such thing here. The plots are cliché free.

Usually the writer and director generously offer all sorts of occasions and dialogues in which the audience feels a little sentiments towards the drunken protagonist.

Here that part is also empty. Murali's life is a mess that even the audience cannot tolerate. It's not like he is drinking alcohol, but it's like alcohol is drinking him back.

Whenever we see Murali, we always feel hate in his activities and gestures. He never give a single moment that illuminates the memories of his daughter, wife, mother or father can contribute to his drinking-life.

Another strong role in the water is played by Murali's wife Sunita.

Sunita, who was soaked till the interval, can be seen gaining extraordinary strength after that and putting forward some moments that can be said to be absolutely fresh.

Samyuktha Menon has made Sunitha great.

After the first half, Samyukta is able to establish Sunita in a shocking way from what she thought was such a character.

Waterman Murali is one of the best characters in Jayasurya's acting career. His willingness to take on such a role is really appreciating.

If the melodrama had been controlled and cropped, the level of the film would have changed. I think so.

Scripting Excellent. Making it's a step ahead.
30 March 2021
Even before its release, the film made a huge splash with trailers, teasers in YouTube!

The film tells the story of Anthony George and Vinayak Das, who go from Salem to become courier boys and food delivery boys without getting a permanent job after engineering.

Balu Varghese and Lukman Avaran are the B Tech cyber youngsters in the lead role. Lukman takes the field to another level with his eloquence in a crucial scene that presents an emotional storyline through dialogue.

But the film does not revolve around them, it goes completely through the script and the making.

The film begins with Alphonse's son's 'Premam' becoming a huge success and its censor copy being leaked on the internet.

Antony and Vinayak Das are approaching SHO Prathap of the Cyber Wing in Kochi with the conclusion that the route found by the police is not behind it.

The first part of Java is that the inspector, impressed by these guys ability, conducts the investigation the way they say.

The film falls on track from the very first frame as it is an investigation of an incident that is familiar and interesting to the Malayalee.

Gathering the audience as well. Java can be used from the beginning to create the impression that it can do justice to the hype received online

Realistic and smart cyber police operations make the film worthwhile.

The director manages to keep the audience curious throughout the operation. Nowhere does it seem like the work of a newcomer, says Tarun Murthy.

Scripting Excellent. Making it's a step ahead.

You can feel the exact homework behind it on the screen.

Operation Java is another film in which a talented director emphasizes that, actors are not an essential element.

As mentioned earlier, it is not the path of these two that is advancing in the investigative paths of cyber policing.

Irshad has the full versatility of a cyber-wing station head. Binu Pappu and Prashant Alexander performed well.

Operation Java came to an unexpected end.

The compulsion to be realistic keeps the dramatic expectations of the traditional audience at bay.

The film ends with the submission of millions of temporary / contract basic / daily wage employees in the Kingdom of India.

A dedication that hooks somewhere inside.

The freshness of Sajan Bakery.
30 March 2021
Aju Varghese will be seen in a double role in the film as starrer. There is a concept that everyone may have in mind when they hear all this.

Sajan Bakery Since 1962, directed by Arun Chandu, is an effort that transcends all those pre-conceptions.

Aju Varghese is also co-writing the script for Sajan Bakery, which is co-produced by Dhyan Srinivasan and Vaishakh Subramaniam.

Script of Sajan Bakery is good at writing. Its advantage is also manifested in totality.

The film is set in Ranni and surrounding areas of Pathanamthitta district. The story revolves around Sajan Bakery, founded by Sajan in 1962 in Ranni.

Bakery life. That is the freshness of Sajan Bakery.

The character Sajan starts the film with the title and then few time at the end of the film. Sajan's sons Bob and Betzi are the main characters in the film.

Their uncle, the mother-in-law and guardian, lives with them.

The focus of the film is on sister-brother relationship instead of formulas.

Brother and sister, who are not much older than each other, we can enjoy the fact that the chemistry between them works out well when Lena with Aju.

And their uncle who has no burden of parenthood between them. Home life of all three.

The director who cast Lena as Betsy deserves a horsemanship. Similarly, the casting of KB Ganesh Kumar in the role of uncle is very fresh.

Aju Varghese is doing well as Sajan and Bobin. Both made Both were Aju Nice.

I do not remember ever seeing Ranjitha Menon on screen never. She is living perfectly in screen as a Ranni Nasrani. Her expressions are good.

Jafar Idukki, as Benjamin who appears in three scenes only. But nice performance

Overall a normal commercial film. But Arun deserves congratulations as a new director.

No other director has ever tried to make a zombie movie in such a good way.
29 March 2021
Korean cinema is a repository of Sobi movies.

Train to busan will be a movie that many have seen. But for those who can't see, there is no better option than to see a great zombie.

No other director has ever tried to make a zombie movie in such a good way.

The film is also a great emotional drama.

The director deserves much praise for making everything that fills the minds of the audience and captivates them.

The Priest (I) (2021)

A thriller movie that you can enjoy the whole theater experience.
20 March 2021
When I heard that a debutant director was coming into the film with Mammootty, I had high hopes for the film. After watching The Priest, I can say for sure that it was not wrong at all.

Joffin T. Director Chacko managed to bring that perfection in every moment of the first film. Two screenwriters Deepu Pradeep and Shyam Menon deserve a round of applause for handling the thrilling script well.

Halfway through the first half the audience was thrilled to move forward with a small case investigation. Then the movie moves on to the real story and gives the audience a great break. The movie ends with a good climax, (The tail end too) A full applause for the classic performance of both Mammootty and Manju Warrier.

Awesome BGM that did all the sound experiments to be seen in the theater itself.

In general, Malayalam Horror movies means fireball, Fire and smoke from the eyes, White sari, Dive and Black cat. But None of these cliché can be found even by looking with ink. And this movie totally omitted with unwanted the graphics and VFX effects.

Although I am not new to exorcism scenes, I can say that there are no such scenes in Malayalam cinema. So it is a new experience.

Even though Mammotty has play the role of a priest at first time, that it is surprising that he was able to change his character so easily.

In a nutshell, this is a thriller movie that you can enjoy the whole theater experience.

Brilliant script that stands with the first part
18 March 2021
It's rare for the second part of a very popular film to get better than the first. Simply that is what has happened here.

The brilliant script is better than the first, and the thrill, drama, events and twists are all carefully crafted. Casting and performances are to suit it. Like Mohanlal's performance, Murali gopi's character is also worth mentioning.

Although Drisyam 2 is complex and beautiful, the review cannot be completed without mentioning the lack of logic when it reaches its climax.

Putting a war movie in one shot !!!
13 February 2021
The cruelty of that German warrior who stabbed the chest of the one who rescued him and gave him water without looking like an enemy when he was glowing from a crashed aircraft !! Victory in war is crazy excitement.

World War I was raging. 1917 April 6. German troops withdraw from the front lines in northern France. Knowing this, the British forces in the Allied forces planned to attack the German army at the right time. But the German army did not actually retreat. That move was a great trap they set for their enemies. It was too late for the British army to realize this. The proposal to attack the German army was gone. All telephone landlines were cut off during the war. Thus, two British soldiers were assigned to rescue 1600 soldiers from the death trap. William Schofield and Tom Blake. Tom's brother Joseph Blake was one of those 1600 soldiers. They both set out to meet Colonel McKenzie, in charge of the Second Battalion, with the General's letter, "Retreat from attacking the German army." The camera goes with it. Putting a war movie in one shot, In a single word this was the movie. I can say and editing by Lee Smith was amazing. But it was the talent of director Sam Mendes and cinematographer Roger Dickens who never compromised on its frames or anything.
