Twin study exciting, meat-industry hate old news.
6 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
TL;DR: obviously biased studies, can't trust results.

I am midway episode 3 while writing. This mini series started off great, a neutral look on twins. One gets vegan food, other twin doesn't. Check health before and after diet change. Pretty straigth forward stuff.

Then, out of nowhere, we're shown how the meat industry is America is horrible, diseases, cholesterol, viscaral fats etc. The producers bias is starting to show itself, but the series is still about health benefits of a plant based diet. I don't really hate the series yet.

Sadly, they start talking about climate change, covid 19, they even start claiming the american diet is born out of slavery (which might be true, I'm no genius). The producers bias is now 100% clear and I already know I can't trust the results of the twin study.

Going to fast forward to the obviously tweaked results now and then call it a day.

Warning: Spoilers
I believe this to be a really good intro episode for a 5 season series about an apocalypse pertaining to only the United States.

Sadly. It is not. This is somehow categorized as a movie. I can still remember the first time I was taught how to write a story in elementary school. I think I was maybe 8 or 9 years old. The teacher drew a fish on the blackboard. She said that all stories need to be like the fish. The tail represents the introduction. The body represent the main events, and the head represented the ending or resolution to said events.

This movie had only the tail. For 2 hours straight we're slowly learning that there is, in fact, an apocalypse. And that's all we ever learn. Internet is out, power is out, there might be a war, there might not be a war. There is an enemy, or there isn't.

Animals seem to be hyper intelligent, or maybe not, I wouldn't know because the movie didn't give me any clue as the what is going on. Suddenly the movie goes to credits, right when the introduction is finished and the main plot is about to start.

Please, script writers, make a whole movie. Try to foresee how your story unfolds and ends before you start writing.

Canceled prime subscription after episode 3
10 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I got prime solely to watch this show, but it was not worth it. It's such a drag to watch and I caught myself playing chess on my phone several times throughout episode 3. The show is simply too boring to watch.

Galadriel, the star of the show, is unlikeable. She bears zero resemblance to Galadriel from the movies, she feels childish to some degree.

The harefoots reminds me of Ronja Røverdatter in a bad way.

Wizard/stranger is intriguing, but I was hoping to get to know him before episode 4, but we still have no idea why he exists.

What the hell was that warg by the way? It looks infinitely worse than the LOTR-wargs.

I'll resubscribe if the next episodes gets great reviews, but I'm not holding my breath.

What the hell was that ending
23 August 2022
I am giving this 6/10 stars because the first 6/10 of the movie was great. It gradually descended from top notch to useless gibberish. The ending changed the whole theme of the movie into some comedy/action movie? Not sure what happened there. Feels like the writer just ran out of ideas and decided to end it all.

Warning: Spoilers
Kind of basic and boring first episode. They're looking for an heir and they land on the obvious choice. If the rest of the series is court drama I'll be disappointed.

There were some fight scenes at night, but I have no idea what it was about nor what happened. Scenes were too dark to see anything.

Hard to finish
19 August 2022
I was hooked for the first 5 episodes. The show became a chore to eatch and I have now given up after episode 7. Episodes 6 and 7 are just gibberish from new characters, is it not? Really hard to follow the plotline and profoundly boring. Couldn't even watch it in the background while gaming.

Really great

Warning: Spoilers
Really good action movie. Great suspense. Plot is a bit see-through, but the sheer quality of it all makes up for it. Tom Cruise sort of got away too easy, and the cops seemed to suck at their job, it is what it is. It's not highly realistic, but if you don't have a beef with that you'll love it.

Exactly what I expected
1 August 2022
I saw the cast was old man Stallone and aging Bautista and the movie was exactly as expected. Somewhat lazy script, evading plotline, cheese one-liners and a lot of punches to the face. Would definitely not watch it again, but I got exactly what I came for.

Warning: Spoilers
Not really sure what the story here is. It starts out as a movie about a dancer, but it turns out she keeps falling. We find out she has some issues with either her stepfather or her father, it isn't very clear. She is part of some religious cult which makes you feel "hm, this cult kind of sucks." Then she joins another cult, that cult sucks too. The movie suddenly ends.

The killing of a good premise
4 December 2020
Intense and suspenseful throughout the whole movie. Really kept me on my toes wondering "how in the hell is this going to end?" I eaited excitedly for the great reveal, an explanation and an ending. Sadly the movie has no ending, no explanation and no great reveal. It's like reading the first half of a great book, and for the author to die mid-writing, and somehow the book was still published.

The worst part of this season isn't what was in it. It was all the things that wasn't.
