Sebastian Maniscalco: Why Would You Do That? (2016)
Best comedy special on netfix
This special is so funny that I can almost say it word for word. (I was going to use the word "recite" but don't know how to spell the word and don't want to open up a google) I will text people in the middle of the night to see if they have watched the special yet and immediately send a second text before they respond saying..."I know you haven't watched yet because I haven't received a Thank You text from you. Get on your and click the Flix." Keep up the good work Sebastian!
A Primeira Tentação de Cristo (2019)
So far beyond stupid
Acting, story, "jokes", all horrendous. Not worth your time watching.
And Then It Goes Dark (2019)
SO GOOD!
No Hollywood budget yet better jumps and story than the "Ghost Shows." Don't go in expecting an over produced Hollywood jump scare but the genius of this film is that it really did happen. Why Blumhouse hasn't done an actual haunted house setup is beyond me....and is also probably why they were interested in this project.
Curse of the Nun (2019)
Serious Question: Was this made by people in high school?
The film opens in a very cheap setting with miserable camera angles hosted by the worst acting I have seen in a long time. Instantly I'm made to think this is how the idea was born..."Hey John!!! Mom left her camera here, do you want to shoot a movie?!" Throughout the film the dialogue is dreadfully slow. The dead space between each sentence builds boredom like I have never felt before. The entire film could have been half the time. The only part that made me feel anything aside from bored was the kissing, what I was feeling was a dry heave sensation. Super awkward kissing. Another thing, the lead actress looks 19, and her daughter looks about 8.
