Bravo Bollywood! Breaking new frontier and how! Kangana solidified her status as the reigning actor and Raj Kumar Rao was his usual chameleon self. Music could have been better but that's not a deterrent for a cinephile at all!

Excruciatingly slow, mind-numbingly inane and utterly boring. Can't believe this is 2019 and this is what mainstream entertainers of today are churning out.
The plot makes zero sense, the setting is highly improbable (snow-capped peaks in the background while everyone is silks, a gladiator-style bullfight scene with cringe-worthy effects (Kangana's leaked dummy horse video pales in comparison), lavish sets, robotic background dancers and what looks like Tropicana juice at the breakfast table!! Please, we want substance, not a soulless opera masquerading as a magnum opus.
Seriously want a REFUND - for the tickets and for the coffee (even the extra shot of espresso didn't help revive my dying brain cells) I had to buy during interval to suffer through the second half. Karan Johar has clearly lost it but I'm mad at myself for not waiting until the reviews were out. What a contrast between my last time at the movies (Gully Boy) and this senseless, meandering, exaggerated mess...and what a WASTE of a holiday! Should have stayed home and watched Netflix instead.
