The Mist (2007)
There were some serious problems.
It's by Steven King, so logic goes out the window. Here are my issues: Not all religious people are crazy, as portrayed by Marcia Gay Harding. She plays this wacked out nut job, calling for the head of a child. She leads others in the group, blaming a low level military guy for the fog. (Yes, the military was responsible for the fog) Anyone with a half a brain, knows that decisions made by the military, are made at the top. Enlisted men are not at fault. But, She called for his head, and got him killed. Not to worry, she gets a bullet in the head. There was just a lot of unbelievable nonsense in this movie. I'll give it a "decent for a B movie".
The Confirmation (2016)
Feel Good Movie About Father and Son
Every dad (ok, all of us) has flaws. Sometimes kids, help us see our flaws, and make us want to do better. This movie isn't a blockbuster movie with all sorts of action, but well worth the 102 minutes. It held my interest throughout the entire movie. Pretty decent acting from Jaeden Martell, who plays Anthony.

Problems With The Script, But Watchable
I read the bad reviews, and disagree that it's terrible. Yes, there were problems with the script/storyline, but it held my attention. To me, it was worth watching. Aggravated at times by decisions of the tourists (all decent eye candy if nothing else), but what movie of this type is perfect? The writers had to keep it moving with action.
Bad Samaritan (2018)
Best Thriller I've Seen In A Long Time!!!
This is worth the time to watch! Finally, a different twist to the standard good guy vs bad guy.
Mad About You (1992)
Too Much "Social Justice" Nonsense
I was good with the first several episodes, but frankly, I'm tired of "social justice" being shoved in my face by Hollywood. I'm done with it.
Strange But True (2019)
I don't understand the bad reviews.
This film is one of the better psychological thrillers I've seen. No, not a lot of blood and gore, but certainly a good story line. A few twists that, ok, I started figuring out a bit early, but it held my attention. It's well worth a look.
Cast No Shadow (2014)
Not bad, except the ending
What was the point of this movie? The acting was good, the story looked like it was going somewhere, but it didn't. Percy Heinz-White did a great job in this role, but I can't get passed the deflated ending.
Ruby Woo (2018)
What Was The Point?
It's a short film with two guys deciding to go out on the town or not. Stuff happens. At the end of this film, my exact thought was "what the hell was the point of this thing?"
After (2019)
Moving story about young love.
I thought it was going to be an average love story, and I guess you could say it is. For me, the two main actors, brought life to their roles. The moments between them felt tender and real. There were a few small details that weren't explained (Hardin's British accent) but not enough to distract me. All in all, a great movie for me.
