Power Play (2003)
Exciting action packed ride
I saw this film at an AFM screening and fell in love with it. It has tons of great action and earthquake sequences that would rival any $100 million production. Mr. Zito is in fine form here as director. He takes us on a journey like no other, with high ideals and real characters. And hats off to Dylan Walsh who does a fine job
Delta Force One: The Lost Patrol (1999)
I got it!
This movie is not for everyone. Especially non-Americans. That said, it kicks ass! The action is great and the story is fun. I rented it and feel as though i got my money's worth. This is just pure entertainment throughout
Three Days (1997)
Real and heartfelt.
I saw this movie at a film festival and am still wondering why it hasn't been released to theaters or video stores yet. It was very good. The best thing about it was that it was real. If you've ever lost a loved one, this movie is for you. It hits home with the emotions and feelings you go through when tragedy strikes. In these times with suicide bombings and terrorist attacks, this movie is the perfect way to cope with it
Love 101 (2000)
Solid!
This film is great. It's playing in our area on the Showtime Next channel. We highly recommend it. Although we didn't attend college in Illinois, this movie perfectly portrays what it's like to go to any major US university. It's funny, heartfelt and above all, realistic. Movies like ROAD TRIP and AMERICAN PIE 2 are fun, but they don't capture the true essence of the college experience. LOVE 101 does.
I don't know where it's playing other than on Showtime, but if you get a chance to see it, check it out.
