Inch High, Private Eye (1973)
Inch High
Plank is an idiot, Hanna-Barbara made quality cartoons and this was one of them. Great cartoon in a collection of quality cartoons in the 70s and 80s. What made Hanna-Barbara great was the wide variety of cartoons that they did make. There was a cartoon for every kid. In fact, they made so many quality cartoons that the USA Network created the Cartoon Express, which originally showed nothing BUT Hanna-Barbara cartoons because there were so many of them and all of them were quality. So it's stupid for someone to say that they only had quality cartoons in the 50s and 60s when Hanna-Barbara are still remembered today or those supposedly bad cartoons.
Space: Above and Beyond (1995)
A god awful show that was finally put out of its misery
How many war shows do we need, especially space war shows? We go back to the old "Earth fights off invaders" though this show doesn't explain how Earth can fight, toe-to-toe against invaders with the technology to fly all the way to Earth. Logic says, if they have the technology to get here they have the technology to completely wipe out the humans fighting on Space: Above and Beyond. And remember the creators and producers of Space: Above and Beyond calling out Star Trek creators and talking about how their show was so much better and putting down the Star Trek franchise as to peaceful and stiff while their show was about war and killing people? This was even published in the TV Guide. Yeah, they went over REAL well! The Star Trek producers and representatives refused to even respond to SAAB and laughed them and said that they were just trying to use the Star Trek franchise to help their show succeed, which was true. Where are those creators and producers that called out Star Trek now? Probably bagging groceries somewhere or putting out low budget, crap movies while Star Trek has wheeled out ANOTHER successful show in the long line of successful shows in the Star Trek franchise. Funny how that happens!
Fair Game (1986)
Jessica/Cassandra learns the true meaning of getting "skinned"!
A very interesting movie indeed! Cassandra Delaney is beautiful, and I'm surprised she did so few movies. She plays Jessica, a woman in the outback fighting for the rights of animals, especially Kangaroos, but 3 vicious guys decide to show her HOW a wild animal is treated, and have fun with her, and drives her around the dusty trails of the desert-like terrain of her own property like a hunting prize. The scene is explicit and worth an eye full as Jessica tries to escapes being tied to the truck while they strip her down and prepare to have some fun, with no help in sight. Somebody needs to tell Jessica that going 3-on-1 with some crazy guys in the outback isn't going to end well! The plot is lacking but the, "scenery" is worth the price of admission!
