The O.C. (2003)
Cheezy, but has potential
Ok, so as the other comment states this show is cheesy, but there is something that just automatically attracted me to it (besides Adam Brody).
This show has "layers", you feel the connections between the characters, that and it kind of hits home with the whole 'outsider' senario with Ryan. I mean who can say that they never felt like an outcast? It also helps to have a great cast, that compliments each other so well. Once you get past the semi-cheesy dialogue, it is really easy to get wrapped up in the content, not the context of this show. The show is fast-paced, which keeps you interested in the next twist and turn.
Give it a chance, you may like what you get wrapped up in ;)
Vampire High (2001)
better than expected
This tv show (so far) has had about 25 episodes, and i'd have to say that i am impressed by the plot line. When i first saw this show i did not think that it would go far with the whole romeo and juliet thing, but it went beyond the whole Drew and Sheri love story. It is a very good for a Canadian tv show.
Pearl Harbor (2001)
It has something for everyone!
Because this movie has a love story, comedy, action, explosions, a story line that you can actually follow, you don't really care that some of the things in the movie weren't entirely accurate. This wasn't one of those movies that are either all serious, all funny, or all sappy. It was like what real life would be like, them all mixed into one, which makes it easy to get into. Overall I liked it. There were predictable parts but I guess that comes up in movies sometimes. I would absolutely commend you to go an see this movie (the theater has the best effect)and if you don't like war type movies you should go just to see the superb acting done by Josh, Ben and Kate.
