Black Panther (2018)

Blade is still a much better black superhero movie

This movie lacked diversity and inclusion. It was all black people acting as black nationalists. Where were the asians? The Native Americans? The hispanics?

This was a snoozer. Same tired comic book plots but FBBB, For Blacks By Blacks. Nothing inventive, nothing original, nothing worth watching, and obviously funded in part by the Department of Defense.

Save your time, save your mind, save your life. Avoid Black Panther and everything connected to it.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017)

Beautiful and engaging. Light years beyond Star Wars.

Major movie critics got this one very, very wrong. Or maybe right if you consider they are prostitutes that shill for Hollywood and this was a French production.

I saw this in real 3d, and recommend others do also.

It's clear from the first 15 minutes that this story was the original source material for George Lucas's Star Wars, and after watching Star Wars story was a pathetic attempt to copy an original work. The character universe is very deep and among the best graphical effects ever created anywhere. The main characters, while not the typical American hero types, bring something else more intangible to the screen, which is free of the Feminist and PC nonsense that plague so many other movies.

Clive Owen's character had real character flaws without being a mythological evil character such as Hitler. There is too much incomprehensible evil in cinema and this was a break from that.

Very, very refreshing and I will be buying the Blue Ray. I hope this film gets the love it deserves internationally and Luc will continue to make follow ups in the series, especially now that it should be more cost effective now the main universe has already been created.

Amy Schumer: The Leather Special (2017 TV Special)

Ugg Awful!!!

Amy Schumer seems to have been the female shock comic of the moment that is no longer in the moment. I wonder if she's having problems after increased scrutiny from her stealing jokes from other comics? This special was God awful. What happened to her writers? Did everyone get so disgusted with her that they packed up and left? That's what I'm thinking. This special was just sad. Don't watch unless you're doing so to cringe or analyze failure.

Branded (2012)

Hmm, why all the bad reviews? This is a rare story told well and should be appreciated as such

It seems that a lot of people are threatened by simple truths in this film. Fat people don't want to be told that their food choices are being influenced by advertising. The negative ratings come from the mirror held in front of the faces of the audience, the negativity is a reflection of the shame of being overweight or the reflection of their own brands that they are wearing and the value they put in them.

This is an original film that doesn't fit the current Hollywood blockbuster mold, but rather it requires self-examination of what influences human choices.

There are a lot of word salad reviews on this movie already, no need for another. Go in with no expectations, come out with a cleaner view of the world and start to understand why you're craving your McDonalds/Coke/Idevice.

Check it out and be pleasantly rewarded - unless your own reflection reflects something too unpleasant to accept....
