Sopravvissuti (2022)
First RAI series I will rate out of disappointment.
I mostly like RAI series. They always recycle about 60% of the same cast on each series, the usual actors Guanciale, Pia Lanciotti, Nicolas Maupas, Giorgio, Gerardi all the Mare Fuori or Porta Rossa cast but they just reshuffle characters and we see all of same actors together again on a different series. Mare Fuori, Il Professore, Noi Siamo leggenda, la Porta Rossa, Soppravvisuti, Lea, Mina Settembre, Blanca, Alieva, etc. Basicaly the same main actors recycled and reshuffled in most of them.
But Sopravvissuti, the great cast all recycled (same usual actors, same usual voices, same demeanors) were wasted with that end, the writer really missed the end badly. Really badly. That's why there was no Second Season. The series was promising up to episode 10 maybe. But the end was not worth it. So many hours lost for those terrible, clumsy final 60 minutes.
Don't forget those South American ocean pirates with Spanish accent FROM SPAIN! Please!
Bad writer. (like Professore and several other RAI series) And the rac1st part of dumping the only black lady into the ocean. Very politically incorrect.
The App (2019)
Watched it just to practice Italian comprehension.
It's useful just if you are learning Italian and you need to practice. The end is weird.
Another Italian movie available in Netflix is "18 Regali" (18 Regalos, 18 Presents) Much better but it reminds me of Mama by Penelope Cruz.
El laberinto del fauno (2006)
Clarification to Irinagoldst from Romania's comment
To Author: Irinagoldst from Romania, who said Europeans can make such great fairy tales, and that Europeans can write their own fairy tales.
This person is partially right, as the plot takes place in Europe, but it was written by a Mexican writer and directed by a Mexican director.
It's representing Mexico as the Best Foreign Language Film in the Academy Awards. And Mexico is not in Europe, I believe.

Supervivientes de los Andes (1976)
White. LOL.
Disney later remade this film and called it ALIVE and hired many white casts(?!). At least SURVIVE is true to real life as they were mostly Mexican on that plane).
In a sense it is true, as most of these actors on the plane are Mexicans. Yes, there's white people in Mexico also. So the Mexican actors where also "white casts". LOL.
In real life they were (are) Uruguayans. (they were the Uruguayan rugby team of that year). If you go to Uruguay, you'll see how that country is a nearly pure white country. United States is a "cafe au lait" one. Come to the Big Apple! So don't be surprised.
I'm not saying white is good or bad. It is just the stereotype of some comments. They're all over.
