It Nearly Wasn't Christmas (1989 TV Movie)
10/10
How can we get this?
22 November 2008
There is something that I don't understand why such a wonderful movie was never released on VHS or on DVD. I have not met a person who has seen it that didn't love it and want to buy it. Even today the demand is great for it. No one knows who to ask though. I remember that for a while they use to show it every year so I didn't bother to tape it when I had the chance. Big mistake for me. I think that with the garbage they are coming out now with. that it nearly wasn't Christmas would be a breath of fresh air. can anyone help us? Thank you, from all of It nearly wasn't Christmas fans every where and we are many. I assure you.If you know of any company or any one person we can contact to show our interest it would be greatly appreciated. This generation would love this story and we need to see good quality programming especially in these trying times. So, please, please if you can help us, please let us know. Thank you.

Wonderful!

I enjoyed every minute of it and so did my son.The story was so interesting and the songs were wonderful. My son didn't know who Marie Osmond was. But he loved to hear her sing. I wish that she would make some more movies like this one. We, watch it every year together. My son is ten now and he still loves to see it. It teaches such a good lesson too. I know that if you purchase this video that you will enjoy it and watch it for years and years to come. Just like me and my son do. Also it's a movie that adults can enjoy by themselves. You don't have to use your children as an excuse to watch it. It is enjoyable at any age.

The Ten Commandments (2005–2006)

I hated it

From the English accents to the so unnecessary violence after violence. Showing Moses as a murderer. People who actually believe in the Old Testament will just sit there and shake their heads. I am not a religious person at all. But even i felt as though the writers of this movie were trying to turn us all against God and the Jews. When Moses picked up that rock and threw the first stone at the woman to kill her for committing adultery. I wanted to stone the writers. I can't believe in this day and age that Hallmark and ABC (Disney) would attempt to show such garbage as this. Don't we have enough problems in this world already?
