Politics versus law enforcement
safeJ28 March 2019
This was an excellent episode, with one character error "goof" as noted in the "Goof" section for this episode. Of course, if things had been done as the writer of this comment suggested, the show would have had much less suspense and political comment. Maggie again made her emotional promise to victim's family member which got her into emotional and other troubles in previous episode(s). I caught it before OA commented to her. Also again, Kristen up to snuff finding evidence and narrowing the suspect pool.

Extremely Accurate 10

My 8 rating is everybody Else's 10

Democrats for Political and Financial Gains constantly interfere with U.S. Law Enforcement.

This can be seen with the Censorship based on Firsthand Experience and Firsthand Observations of my Review of The Rookie S01E16, originally titled' Goofs", that stated why the Democrat Politicians of California are attempting to Legalize Illegal Aliens as violations of U.S. Immigration Laws, and what the situation is Nationwide, and why Democrats are Ordering State, City, Local Law Enforcement to NOT Cooperate with Federal Law Enforcement, and refusing FBI Assistance.

"Apex"

Warning: Spoilers
"Apex" is a good an episode of FBI has we've yet seen, and also the one that is closest thematically to Law & Order: SVU.

A serial killer is killing victims after meeting them on a dating profile and staging them for photos afterwards.

OA and Maggie have enough on their plates chasing down the ruthless killer before he can claim another victim, but there is interference from the Mayor's office which has them doing their jobs basically with one hand tied behind their back.

The mayor's office is worried about the tourism optics around revealing the presence of a serial killer in New York City rather than, you know, catching said serial killer. It's a scenario I'm pretty sure isn't too far from the reality sometimes.

Great episode, from beginning to end - great tension.

Less cockyness, please
solarionas10 January 2024
Dena's mannered, unnatural, cocky show is too much. I hoped the young guy who was sent to help them profiling in previous episode will take her role as even he was not that much but the play became twisted just to keep her in place. Such mistakes when the agents shout from ten meters to a suspect in another episod so the suspect have the possibility to escape does not add to the experience, especially when there are other series perfectly made.

The story was good and it is getting better together unfortunatelly with the above mentioned cockyness which is a pity and a distracting element. Also the tension between law enforcement and politicians is too preachy.
