VIVA MEXICAN DIRECTORS!!!!
eelias-4088525 October 2019
From the start you know that this movie will be a gem. It opens with the beautiful Eiffel Tower and evolves through an evening with Gertrude Stein Picasso Mattise F. Scott Fitzgerald and Hemingway but with a twist; that of which Mexican directors are known for ....just as Alfonso's Roma with the car scratching as it enters the tight garage this movie moves and takes you inside the intricacies of producing film which is both culturally enlightening both for new and current art aficionados as well as refreshingly and intellectually entertaining promoting a very human view of these cultural icons of life today ..... The movie immerses you through innovative in and out progression of actors continuing and pausing the filming process as the camera keeps shooting as actors take a break to rehearse scripts roles ambience lighting and then coming back into action with outmost naturality which at the highlight make you feel as if you are dining with these most beautiful minds that have changed the way we see the world completely in a very human warm manner.... I believe Carlin will be another Cuarón <<< challenging current limits and valiantly defying the norm of film production for our pleasure. SOTOL salud! Viva Mexico
