Alex Danvers : Hey, have you heard from Kara? She's not answering any of my calls.
Lena Luthor : She went to tell the president what we found. Kara's okay.

Supergirl : [sneaking into the DEO] I know you're trying to find Red Daughter.
Alex Danvers : You can't be here. If the president finds out...
Supergirl : He's working with Lex.
Alex Danvers : What?
Supergirl : Yeah. You need me, especially if we're gonna have to fight another me in the process.

Lena Luthor : We went to Kaznia and we found Lex's lab. He's been experimenting on aliens, trying to harness their powers. And a lot of these aliens seem to come from a DEO facility in the desert.
Querl Dox : Find the missing aliens, find Lex.
Lena Luthor : But whatever we do, we better do it fast. Lex is planning on invading America.
Querl Dox : What?
Alex Danvers : You should've led with that.
Lena Luthor : Well, then you're gonna love this. Lex has a clone of Supergirl.

Colonel Lauren Haley : Supergirl!
Alex Danvers : Colonel. I thought you were in Washington.
Colonel Lauren Haley : Are you insane? You brought an enemy combatant into the DEO?
Alex Danvers : No, she's here because the real enemies are on the way. We were right.
Supergirl : A copy of me attacked the White House. A clone, more or less.
Alex Danvers : The president knew, too. Baker's been working for Lex Luthor. And now Luthor is planning on attacking the U.S.
Colonel Lauren Haley : Then I guess that's why we should work together on this.

[as she listens for a heartbeat, Red Daughter watches from the sky]

Kelly Olsen : You okay?
Alex Danvers : That was a weird dream or a memory or... I don't know. It was about, um... it was about my sister.
Kelly Olsen : Your sister who was adopted?
Alex Danvers : Yeah.
Kelly Olsen : An adoption falling through is a big deal. And stuff like that isn't just emotional. It can make physiological changes to your brain and to the connections that it makes.
Alex Danvers : It's weird, 'cause the last time I felt like this, I was, uh... I was being questioned at the DEO. It was a security sweep. Something just feels off, and I think... I think it has to do with Kara somehow.

Colonel Lauren Haley : The beam from Claymore was powered by an unknown energy source. There were six engineers involved in R&D, and when I tried to track them down, I found out they all got put to bed with a shovel in the last two weeks, in these locations.
Alex Danvers : Luthor's trying to get ahold of Claymore technology.
Supergirl : We need to find him and stop him from getting it, but right now, our priority is finding Red Daughter. So if we triangulate these hits, can we get an address?
Alex Danvers : [seeing the results] These are all downtown National City. Different times of the day and night. Do you think she's living here?
Colonel Lauren Haley : We won't be able to send backup. Not without knowing who we can trust.
Supergirl : It's fine. I'll find her alone.
Alex Danvers : Hey! Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a minute. We'll find her. I'm coming, too.
Supergirl : No, it's too dangerous. You'll be safer here, Director.
Alex Danvers : Why are you acting so weird? We're hunting her together.
Supergirl : I just need you to trust me. I'm going alone.

Alex Danvers : I told you, you're not leaving me behind.

Supergirl : [listening with her super-hearing] Red Daughter is there.
Alex Danvers : What?
Supergirl : Eliza, uh... she's in danger. Tell her to get out!
Alex Danvers : [Supergirl speeds out] Mom, are you still there?
