Handsome Italian Lothario Lorenzo goes missing, leaving behind a wide and unborn child. Frank and Lu are called in by Eva, Lorenzo's hard working other half.
I really enjoyed this one, the show is at its best when it's a little bit eccentric, and this one certainly is, the characters are nuts, I loved Annette Badland as one of the sisters, I bet she had enormous fun in that outfit.
It has a definite kitsch charm, and the casino setting adds to the atmosphere. Sebastian was ok good form here too.
Loved it. 8/10

Lorenzo Foyle a constant gambler and lothario has gone missing.
His pregnant wife Ava consults Frank and Luella. She worries that Lorenzo might had gone over his head with his gambling addiction.
They visit a casino run by two eccentric sisters, Queenie King and Rose King.
Frank and Luella think that there are enough suspects in the casino who might be involved in Lorenzo's disappearance over his gambling debts.
There are some gruesome bits to th episode as well as references to The Merchant of Venice. A pound of flesh as a pig's heart is sent in the post.
The mystery was diverting but not as enthralling. I had a fair idea who might had been involved in Lorenzo's fate. I did like how Annette Badland was dressed.
