Sex & Nudity

  • A sous chef recounts her experience of being sexually harassed by the chef.

  • A character's finger is cut off. This is shown however is brief due to quick editing. He is in pain and bloodied bandages for the rest of the film.
  • A man commits suicide off screen. The hanged corpse is seen.
  • Dead animals can be seen hung up in the background briefly.
  • A man is slapped, and later punched.
  • Several people have minor bloody injuries on their face after a chase scene.
  • People are shot and there's a lot of blood.
  • There's a scene where a man's ring finger gets cut off, and he bleeds profusely.

  • Men are made to run through darkened woods to escape capture.
  • The film takes a very abrupt and dark turn and has a very stressful and frightening tone.

Violence & Gore

  • A man shoots himself in the mouth, causing blood to spurt out. In another shot, he is shown in a puddle of blood. Abrupt and unexpected.
  • A man is drowned, all we see is him going under the water.
  • A woman stabs a man in the thigh with small scissors.
  • The chef recounts a traumatic experience of domestic abuse while presenting a dish that represents the assault.
  • Two women get in an intense fight in a kitchen. A woman is slashed in the arm, the other has a hard object hit over her head, and finally one has a knife stabbed in her throat, killing her. Blood is shown.
  • People are set on fire at the end off screen. Not graphic.
  • Multiple people are burned alive.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The main character, Chef Julian, is very menacing in a relaxed and nonchalant manner.
  • Some people are set on fire but it's not graphic or gory.
  • A man is hung from restraints to be lowered into water and drown. Only shown from a distance.
  • Without warning, before one can look away, from a scene showing the dinner guests, the camera suddenly cuts to a man (sous-chef) having put a gun inside his mouth and pulls the trigger to a very loud detonation and dinner guests gasping.
