Mr onion
dj_andy_k25 February 2019
Mr onion is a proper geezer, drives a tractor, plays the trumpet, likes saying his own name

Not a bad show

That clown is well weird though

Soothing to say the least

My toddler adores Moon and Me. She's not a crazy, run around babe and therefore doesn't appreciate tv shows that have too much action or noise. Moon and Me is perfect for her personality type. She's learning new words through it and I don't tire of hearing her roam around the house saying "tiddle toddle."

Hypnotic magic for kids.
khunkrumark21 February 2019
More excellent CBBeebies fare. This easily the BBC's strongest hand, making TV for children and this example is no exception. If they dumped the left wing news broadcasts and stopped sheltering deviants and just did this, they'd be worthy of the public trust once more.

Part of the 'magic' of cjildrens TV is to make it entirely relatable to kids yet not excruciatingly painful for adults, and this scores highly. There are only 10 episodes at the moment but I'm sure there will be loads more to follow.

In some ways there are some similarities between this and The Flowerpot Men made almost 70 years ago. The characters just make funny noises while the kindly narrator guides us through the story.

I'm loving this and so are my foreign language learning students!

Enchanting and beautiful

My 2 year absolutely adores this. We are only 2 episodes in but as soon as Moon & Me comes on he sits there, waving and singing. Although he really interacts with the show, it also looks like it really relaxes him. Perfect for bedtime 😊 Tiddle Toddle!

I adore this program. We're catching up as it's on too soon for our bedtime routine. It's nice and chilled and super cute.

Charming and nostalgic

My 5 and 2 year olds have discovered this recently and they're captivated! I even walked in on them fighting over the tv screen as they were both trying to kiss the Moon baby. "I love him!" "No! I love him!" (Hopefully not setting a precedent for their teens.)

From what I've seen it's both hilariously creepy and ridiculously cute. There's also a heart-wrenching childhood innocence about it. I love the lack of technology, despite the irony of that in a children's tv show! I also read somewhere that everything you see is 'real'. Pretty impressive I think.

This is a perfectly gentle show to watch with your toddler right before bedtime. It's super adorable, but it might put you to sleep too. LOL

Am i alone in thinking...
imavlanka4 March 2019
This program seems to be a technological and educational step backwards from the creations akin to Night Garden and Teletubbies.

The colours seem pale and washed out, the animation akin to The Flumps or Button Moon and the catch phrases/voices uninspired and disinteresting.

I cannot see any positive way that this can be compared to the vibrant and well paced productions the creator has released in the past. I was shocked to find it comes from such a prestigious name in kids TV.

I apologise if you disagree with this scathing review and I accept that everybody has their own tastes/opinions. I can only state that this fall's very short of winning my favourable ones.

I love this show (and so do the kids ;))
leonacdarcy26 March 2021
Utterly enchanting little programme ostensibly for younger kids but older ones are transfixed by it too. It's just so calm and sweet, and the mix of characters is perfect. Mr Onions is probably my favourite (I think he's everyone's favourite ;))

One of the few programmes aimed at toddlers that I actually enjoy watching myself.

Wonderfull Such A Joy To Watch
deanhallrspb6 February 2019
I'm only two episodes in of 'Moon and Me' but i already love it, the toys of Pepi Nana 'Tiddle-Toddle', Mr Onion, Sleepy Dibillo, Lambkin, Little Nana, Colly Wobble and of course Moon Baby are wonderful to watch. Moon Baby brings the toys (except Pepi Nana) to life each night and they go on exciting little adventures. It's such a beautifully made program in fact the first episode I watched overwhelmed me so much i cried tears of joys. It's created by the great Andrew Davenport who gave the world the brilliant 'Teletubbies' and the equally fantastic 'In The Night Garden (I'm a big fan)'.

Calming, and peaceful, but also kinda creepy
brandh420124 June 2019
This is a show we play when are toddler is wild, but it's time for best. The show is very soothing and plays calming music, but the characters are kinda creepy. If you don't like dolls... probably not the show to watch!
