In the cutaway of Brian's musical about William Howard Taft, he is shown using the Resolute desk in the Oval Office, which wasn't used by a president there until John F. Kennedy in 1961. Additionally, the Resolute desk is shown having a door with the presidential seal which wasn't added until Franklin D. Roosevelt was president. But it isn't really President Taft in his actual 1909-13 Oval Office, it's presented as a show on a theater stage. The desk and the seal represent props that might well have been chosen by a set designer in the context of a musical version of history.
