My daughter loves it!

At first I was put off by the weird character design, but after looking more carefully I was blown away by the animation quality and design, it looks like they mix 3D models with 2D backgrounds and the integration is seamless quite beautiful to look at. You just don't see animation like that anymore... now everything is 3D with less artistic feel to it. What kid doesn't love dinosaurs?

It's alright

Warning: Spoilers
I had no idea this existed until about a few weeks ago. So, basically, this show is about some prehistoric creatures who go on various adventures. They idolize a fake species of dinosaur called the 'Gigantosaurus', (not to be confused with the Giganotosaurus) who shows up about once per episode.

I wasn't really interested in the show at first because Disney Junior's acquired shows tend to be average at best. But this turned out surprisingly pretty decent.

I really like the animation, it reminds me of Into the Spiderverse. The characters are enjoyable and work off each other well. My favorite has to be Rocky -- he reminds me of a certain PBS alien because of his high energy and determined attitude. He tries to act tough, but he's a big softie on the inside, as shown in "The Lost Egg". There's a lot of clever jokes and good writing.

There's some stuff to be learned as well. "Mazu Takes A Chance" teaches about why it's important to protect endangered species, and "The Lost Egg" shows that it's perfectly okay to show your soft side. The latter episode also has a lesson on incubation. However, there's one inaccuracy - Mazu is said to be an Ankylosaurus, but she looks more like a frog.

To sum it up, Gigantosaurus is a funny and heartwarming series. Too bad it's on the chopping block, because Disney Junior is planning to shaft it to the 24/7 channel, just like what happened with P. King Duckling.

When my lil bro watched this show, I thought it would have a bad rating considering it's mainly catered to kids, having quite the amount of inaccuracies, etc. Boy was I shock at the ratings

Amazing

It just entertains me and makes me laugh hard when I watch every episode. I cant wait for a season 4. Im now watching this on Disney but I would like if they would make that the episodes go in a line like first then second not random because its imposible to watch season 3 because of this but that is just a minor problem and the show is amazing. Also Disney is really taking too long to say or write is this show canceled or renwed for season 4. This show is really my favotite totaly 10/10. There arent even that much bad episodes unlike in Bluey. But sometimes they mistake the episodes and make a drama because its imposible to know what episode you are watching when on the title it says season e episode 42 but the season 3 starts at episide 53 thats a minor problem.

Very nice for the family.

Warning: Spoilers
Spoiler alert 🚨

So I watched the show to Netflix and since I started I something really like about the show. The characters are very cute, my favorite character is Tiny the little trickeraptop and she's by far the best character of the show. When I first watched the first episode I didn't know that two of the main characters (Tiny and Mazu) are girls. When I was watching Disney channel this show was showing it as a commercial and I thought the main four characters were all male and a bit silly to disturbing Gigantosaurus when he do his own things but it's much, much better than I thought. While I was watching the whole series there one character that I think is the most kind, good character in the entire series and it's "Ayati". So, I was able to give it a 9/10 when I have had finished the show, BUT, my score went down to 8/10 because, in the last episode "goodbye giganto part 2" I didn't believe what was going on and before I'll talk for what I dislike I want to tell three characters that I dislike them or hate them but because of the last episode makes me hate them more and more. So the first hateful characters that I'm talking about is the two raptors that I forgot their names but they're so stupid because both in the show they stealing food like the try to steal some food from the main characters and I want to tell you just think about in reality, imaginate those things to do some people to a picnic that there's a family and friends, okay you could stop them but think about it. In some episodes one or both raptors are starting like the main characters but this must be consequences but it didn't happen in the next episodes. And the next character that I dislike her and from the final episode makes me hate her more is a sea dinosaur from a lake named "Terminator". When the main characters are playing in the lake she always appears to eat them or not but she is dangerous. One thing about her that doesn't make any sense is that when Giganto is not to the valley the Terminator is pretending as a queen. I have seen this in an episode but when I watched the last episode I think that it was a hint of what will going on in the next episodes. Alright now let's talk about the last episode. So what was going on in the last episode? So listen carefully. The last two episodes of season 1 are called "goodbye Giganto part 1+2 allright? ok. In the ending of part 1 Giganto in the morning is leaving for some reason the valley for a while. In part 2 what is going on? Hmm? Can you guess? No? Ok, I'll tell you. In part 2 is beginning at the lake where terminator belongs. It starts terminator as a queen (like I said before) with the two raptors telling the main characters and others what to do because terminator is "queen". Rocky, Bill, Tiny and Mazu are tired but terminator and the two raptors are don't care not even for a second. The main characters are leaving and terminator tell them that she with the raptors that they will break their little house, yes I'm not kidding. Back to their house are the two raptors here. Tiny's big brother is here to save them but one of the raptors are closing him to a something green that is made from plastic and he can't break them. After that the terminator is appearing as a queen with the other dinosaurs to caring her because she is a "queen". She is coming with his machine and with a big rock to break the house of the main characters. After that Giganto's voice is hearing from nowhere and rocky is hitting Terminator by her rock and throw her back to the lake. Something happens and the two raptors are fall to the green thing that Tiny's brother was inside and he escapes. Rocky is sending the two raptors to the terminator and Giganto is back. The episode is happy ending but of what terminator planned just think again about reality, that some people come to your house to mess it. Is just so dumb. If the season 2 comes out I want of waht happened to the last episode to have consequences and terminator and the two raptors be punished heavily for that.

Dinosaur Train Rip-Off
MikeHunt107510 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
In this day and age, no show can have success without another studio just copying the formula and blatantly ripping it off without even trying to hide it.

Hensons Dinosaur Train is what this show here is completly ripping off. A bunch of cartoon dinosaurs mostly in their adolescents teaching kids about today's subject.

These versions aren't even cute and colourful like the original it's gone out of its way to even lift stories directly from.

It'd be OK if it was some sort of homage, but it's not. Far from it. It just goes to show that neither in the mature or children's television. Or movies, no one can come up with an original concept anymore.
