Maggie Tells the Truth
ZegMaarJus19 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Zola, she is making a tree trunk of her family. Maggie is in a medical podcast recording for her article, she tells that Richard and Ellis are her biological parents. Jackson, Link and Jo perform Hunter's surgery. Richard is not happy that Maggie told that he and Ellis had an affair with Ellis. Nice Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 15, this was not a great Episode but still the level that i am expecting of this series. Andrew his father has a plan to let woman give birth more save, but will his plan work after all. Meanwhile Alex his mother Helen Karev is still in Seattle!

Cringe-worthy

The relationship with Meredith and DeLuca is just cringe worthy. The age gap is a bit off but mostly I think their chemistry is all wrong. DeLuca acts like a spoilt child and all is forgotten with the girl that was sent over to Cristina. So much for true love. NEXT... I think it's almost as bad as Maggie and Jackson which is one of the shows worst relationships to date. Maggie has become whiny and annoying and Jackson just looks wooden when he's with her. No chemistry at all.

Meredith has spent this season sitting on her ass doing sweet FA. There have been no exciting moments and no one who is an avid fan can tell me the "Super Storm" was all it's cracked up to be. The best part of that episode was Bailey and Ben getting back together.

Bring Webber back as chief, throw in some drama and have some fire for goodness sake. This season is a dud.

Warning: Spoilers
Grey's Anatomy seems to be very off and on. We have had some of the best episodes of the entire show air in the recent weeks, just as we have had some of the worst. It appears this makes the "worst" list. It's been a long time since Grey's has been CONSISTENTLY good. We've seen this "off/on" trend for quite a few seasons now, especially in the tenth, eleventh, and thirteenth. The overarching stories consistently seem to experience some growing pains. Reference the Jo's husband arc, which is stretched across several seasons and took way too long to come to an end. It could have been much better if handled more sensitively, which FINALLY happens in the fourteenth season. In season 15, we have already seen the Teddy/Owen storyline seem to struggle with where it's trying to go, as with the Meredith/Andrew storyline. Now seems to be the case with DeLuca's father being introduced. I don't know where this new storyline is supposed to be going, and neither do I care. The Meredith/Andrew elevator scene in which we learned more about DeLuca's father seemed to promise so much more, and I'm already disappointed. It's over-played and typical. Give us more of Jo and Alex, Dr. Webber, and Meredith (on her own--NOT with a man!!!), and some more of Bailey! These are your beloved characters! I personally love Amelia, too, and would love if she got a standalone episode season to showcase her amazing character since the writer's have seem to have FAILED to keep her arc ongoing.

Dear Grey's Writers: Please stick to the writing styles evidenced in season 15 episodes "Flowers Grow Out of My Grave," "Blowin' in the Wind"/"Shelter From the Storm," "The Winner Takes It All," and "Girlfriend in a Coma." What do all of these episodes have in common, you might ask? They remind me why I loved this show so much in the first place. Listen - you have characters in which people are invested in. Use that to your advantage. Seeing Meredith's father was amazing. Seeing old faces in episode #15.6 was absolutely heart-wrenching. The juicy drama in episodes 8&9 are what keep us interested. The who's-sleepin'-with-who is a bit tired. The show is so grown-up now, and we want more of this great storytelling we know exists. I don't watch TV to fall asleep; I watch it to be entertained! These "off" episodes, which otherwise might be served as "fillers," are so obnoxious. Continue expanding on the INTERESTING arcs you've been working on with your characters. The Stop/Go technique doesn't work with storylines. Keep it flowing.

"Blood and Water" (#15.16) -- 5.1/10.

What an awful message...

That voice over at the end was the show reaching new ways to push opinions onto the viewers heads. Cringe...
