Gujju Movie CHAAL JEEVI LAIYE, well I am very lucky and proud to say that i have seen the transition of gujarati movies from being sort of nothing to being very competitive to bollywood movies. Coming to the movie it is a rollercoaster ride full of emotions, at a moment you would be laughing and the very next met you would have tears in your eyes. It is that sort of a movie were in u would be expecting extremely funny scenes bcoz Siddharth Randeria is there in the movie but for the very same reason you would be at extreme and high emotions. This movie shows you the real emotions between a father & son. One must always believe in LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST & that is the motto of this movie. Coming to acting nobody will be able to catch up Siddharth Randeria in this role, but yes other actors need to catch up a lot especially the lead actor Yash Soni. While watching him he reminded me a lot of Hritik Roshan in ZNMD. Aarohi Patel has done decent job. But Siddharth Randeria's image has completely changed after he portrayed this character. The story and direction is fabulous and so are the locations.
One dialogue which has hit me the most and will always remain in my mind - AANSU TOH 1% PANI CHE ANE 99% LAGNI & basically this statement sums up the whole movie. It's a must watch movie & if possible go along with your father and yes I was lucky to see this movie along with my father.

I am stunned seeing transformation of Gujrati Films... I am proud to say that Gujrati film makers also coming with new and original ideas. It is not far when Bollywood will make remakes of Gujrati films...
Totally unpredictable, truly original, excellent direction by Vipul Mehta, superb music by Sachin-Jigar & above all mesmerising photography...

As a British Gujarati, I loved this film. It had the classic cheesy Gujarati humour which Gujaratis all over the world can relate to and featured typical Gujarati food which obviously made me hungry numerous times during the film.
The film got incredibly meaningful and became a real tear-jerker, I left the theatre feeling quite emotional and have been reflecting on the film since.
It was very well made and produced, breathtaking scenes throughout and the most powerful one for me was the final scene.
All in all, a wonderful film, although the songs could have been better and more catchy.
Spoiler alert: Although I would have preferred the ending to have ended in a different way, the scene was portrayed in an incredibly powerful and gripping way, leading to a final bout of tears.

Maybe someone make remake of this film. If MALHAR THAKAR Is casted insteal of yash soni.film will become more better. And AROHI is lake of glamour. But talented. Instead of AROHI some Glamorous heroin should be casted. AROHI FACE LIKE SOME KUPOSAN GIRL.

In this time, there's hardly a movie which can be seen with family.. This movie is significant in an aspect of a father-son relationship.. Comic as well as as immersive visuals of North India makes you feel live and fresh.. Lastly a lesson to take home.. Don't think much.. book a ticket for you and your family.

Must watch movie with family especially with your father you will feel all the sacrifices that he did for you till date and how you behaved with him... It is approximately of 2 hours but you won't feel boring even for 1 second that's the best part of it, great story telling, cinematography, background music and songs serves as garnishing and the scenery gives great joy.

One of the best movies, seen recently..can compete with any other language film including hindi, due to its superb screenplay, visuals, acting, editing, songs, direction n heart-touching story..S Randeria,Yash n Aarohi - keep it up. Big thanks to Vipul Mehta, (whom we met in an interactive session, with DevComm PG students at Mumbai, outside Bhaidas Hall in 2001) for giving a proud feeling to see such class movie.

Chaand ne kaho song is my favourite and Ghanu jeevo song is good too!
