Sex & Nudity

  • On the 2nd segment a heated argument between two women take place. It is implied they had a romantic relationship based on the emotions and one woman kept touching the other woman's face. It almost appears they may kiss as they argue closeup, but no kissing or nothing sexual.

Violence & Gore

  • A woman falls onto a triangular shaped medal/award, impaling her skull; the outcome is very bloody and gruesome (including a few grotesque scenes of another character attempting to remove it) and is repeatedly shown throughout the entire segment.
  • A man's moldy, cobweb covered corpse is discovered in a basement; it's then shown in flashback to when the man shot himself in the head with his own rifle.
  • A girl scout is killed after being impaled several times by the stick-like hands of a living scarecrow.
  • A young boy is shown with multiple scrapes and bruises, it's then revealed that his older brother tortures and beats him (some of which is briefly glimpsed on-screen)

Profanity

  • F-word used multiple times.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The creature effects of the living scarecrow in the first segment might frighten certain viewers, especially when he moves his branched fingers/hands.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • The ending to the first segment is very intense with the younger brother finally getting revenge on his older brother; the final scene of the branches/sticks going up and in the brother's nose, eyes, and mouth as he screams in terror is very disturbing.

Violence & Gore

  • A woman attempting to climb through a jammed elevator door is decapitated; her severed head is revealed when the elevator doors finally open.
  • A teenage bully is tied to his bed while stick and branch-like "fingers" cover his entire body, including into his nostrils and mouth and eyes; it's implied he's killed.
