Without any exception I can think of, Sky comedies are just not funny.
This however is excellent.
Stephen Graham has been one of my favourite British actors since I first saw This Is England. It is because of Mr Graham that I decided to give this a chance. I ended up binging the entire 6 episodes.
The only disappointment is that (as far as I can tell) we haven't had chance to see the pilot episode.
Good story line. Great Characters from top British actors and one hell of a laugh.
If you disagree with me, YOUR WRONG 😚

I have just watched the first episode and now watching the 2nd and I was laughing so much. Yes, it is stupid but that is the whole fun of it and you can't help but laugh. Yes, the jokes are lame but they are the type of jokes you just can't help but laugh at. It is a really funny comedy that is really lighthearted and that is definitely needed at the moment with the lockdown due to the virus. It will put a BIG smile on your face and give you 25 minutes (each episode) of laughter or a good few hours of laughter if you binge watch it. I think I will watch a few more episodes this evening with (episodes 3 and 4) a nice cocktail or glass of wine and enjoy the 50 minutes of laughter. This series is for fun and laughter and not to be taken seriously and it certainly ticks all the boxes.
Two Detectives face a strange time ahead, after one of them is shot after being betrayed by someone.
I've got to be honest, I don't have a clue what the other reviewers were in hysterics laughing about, I didn't find it particularly funny the whole way through, but some scenes were hilarious, the white powder scene for example, was a belly laugh moment.
What it was, however was an incredibly well produced show, and superbly acted, I absolutely loved the combo of Mays and Graham, I'm not sure about you but the pair seemed to be holding back the laughs for the most part, great on screen together.
A good job from writer Daniel Peak.
It's a solid start, 7/10.
