Witty, Sarcastic, Dark and Mostly Fun!

Azeem Banatwala really impressed me with this one. Very clever writing and especially the set-up at the beginning of the show where he sets a kind of to-do list for himself really pays off in the end. Surely one of the better stand up specials Amazon Prime has to offer. P.S. Watch it English subtitles. You won't regret it.

Being silly

I would have regretted if I had to pay for this piece of not so funny attempt. Also, get your own style dude; don't try to just copy the style of others.

Works probably better if you're from India.

This is one of those stand-up comedies that just work better in its country of origin, in this case India. Azeem Banatwal has a funny bone, that's obvious, but if you're not fully up-to-date with the Indian culture, politics and so on it's sometimes difficult to understand the jokes. Also if you don't speak Hindi there are other jokes that don't make really sense as we don't get the pun. He speaks the typical English with an Indian accent, a bit like Apu from The Simpsons, and I thought that was just how they spoke, but he can speak "normal" English as well apparently, thought that was strange. I'm sure he'll do good in India, not sure about his material in another country though. As an European I can't rate it more than a five for the reasons mentioned before.

Smart but Gets Predictable

High regards for the Aseem's intellectual way of brining humour with class. Most of comedian do go after the politics as it a mass topic and anything works. But If a major portion of the show gets dragged on the same subject it starts to get boring.

We are Watching comedy for fun not getting influenced with intellectual humour to start thinking about political subject in the middle of fun time.

The Pigeons and superpower stuff was out of the world. There were many parts which was wow while quite a major part was a bit dragged on same subject.

Is this stand up comedy or some anti national show?
kumarshankar-3678224 January 2021
Only religiously biased anti national people would love such a show. This is not comedy but only toxic content based on stereotypes. Forget laughter, could only feel cringe.
