I love these two actors since their roles in Goblin. Their chemistry is no joke. If you looking for cute, sweet yet funny and light-hearted drama. This is the one.

Pleasantly entertaining
phd_travel18 June 2021
Enjoyable and pleasant rom com. Surprisingly even though there is nothing too groundbreaking in the subject matter it managed to entertain for 16 episodes. The cast is likeable and the characters are mostly nice people for a change. There isn't a reliance on frustrating love triangles, misunderstandings or in law disapprovals that plague earlier K drama shows. The humor is simple but effective and avoids silliness. A couple of fairly interesting crimes keep the story going.

Lee Dong Wook acts quite well as the lawyer who is clueless about dating. The man bangs make him look strange though. Yoo In Ah isn't the most beautiful actress out there but she plays the character of an actress working as a secretary in a law firm with sweetness charm and avoids being annoying even when she is acting cute. The 2 are in their late 30s and you would think the cute actions might be silly but somehow it's funny. The supporting cast is okay as well.

If you need to recover from a makjang drama or something too serious then this is a good one.

Good Enough
PennyReviews29 March 2019
Touch your heart is a fan service drama. The couple from Goblin, who didn't get their nice happy ever after, get a second chance in this one. And it pays off. We knew that they had chemistry, and they do not disappoint, with a drama filled with cute, romantic moments. There was a point when the drama almost got a bit dark, but the main story remained cheerful and sweet. So, for a lighthearted, fluff drama, this one was perfect. I admit, there were some tiring moments, but there were few, and, surprisingly, the drama keeps the interest high till the very end. The performances were good as well. So, 8 out of 10.

Understated
aayatfatma13 July 2020
This drama... I have no words which describe it perfectly. Many websites have understated this drama, I don't understand why. Its such a beautiful piece of art, emotions and just great acting. It has made into my top 3 dramas. This drama is so beautiful, innocent and just perfect. The main lead of Yoon In na and Lee Dong-wook, have officially become my favourite couple in K drama. I watched this drama because when I watched the pair in Guardian, I was held captive by their chemistry. Its just beautiful. Both compliment each other so beautifully. Unlike many kdramas, where with the episodes, characters change and story become sad or dull or sympathetic, it didn't happen here. Yes down did come, but even that for handled so charismatically. Even supporting actors were just awesome. The soundtrack is great compared to other k dramas. Usually I don't like endings they give in K dramas, its not that they aren't good, but they just aren't satisfying; but 'Touch Your Heart' has even the perfect ending. There is nothing more I can demand out of a rom-com k drama. This is a drama which will leave you smiling for days. Highly recommended. You won't regret it.

Sweet and enjoyable
ritikroshan-991464 October 2021
This is a feel good, light hearted drama.

The story is quite simple and straight, i think the writers could have done a better job with the story and made it a bit more interesting.

ML and FL characters are adorable but i think the chemistry between the leads was just ok, even some romantic scenes felt like forced and not realistic at all.

One thing that i loved the most throughout the series was comedy, the show is absolutely hilarious and the side characters are also very good.

Overall i think its not strictly a very romantic drama but an enjoyable one. If you are a fan of light hearted drama and have some free time then you should go for it.

Awesome chemistry, comedy, screenwriting and production values!
stevepat9917 February 2019
Top actress (Oh Yoon Seo) falls on twos years of rock-bottom hard times from her rich boyfriend's drug scandal. Finally she can snag a role as a secretary IF she can complete three months working in an attorney. (played by Kwan Jung Rok). We have the beautiful actress as fish-out-of-water with zero experience and clueless as to how to transfer a phone call. She and her handsome boss have great chemistry. Have finished three episode with many tender and many more laugh out loud scenes. The supporting office staff are cool and hilarious. I could not get enough of she and her boss on screen. From tense, to tender to hilarious it goes on and on in super fine style. Both great actors! I have watched over 100 Korean/Taiwan dramas and com-dramas and this one is the best I have seen in quite some time.

One of the best

Warning: Spoilers
One of the best romantic comedies. The two main characters have great chemistry. The twist in episode 14 with the Yun-Hui case was so unexpected! The romance between the divorce lawyer and the other female lawyer was the best part of this show. It was so funny. The cases were all interesting, but I wish that they would have spent some more time investigating the cases, especially the stalking case, which ended abruptly. I also did not like how the female lead was unable to stand up for herself and always need the male lead to save and protect her, which is too old-fashioned in my opinion. Also, the Mr. Lee did not end up dating Ms. Yang which was disappointing.

Suprised lukewarm on this couple in Goblin but they are so cute in this
leahcubed25 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
9.5/10 is my rating. This is a 2019 South Korean Romantic television series drama with 16, 60 minute episodes.

Oh Jin-shim (Yoo In-na), who is famous as Oh Yoon-seo, is a top Hallyu (Internationally famous) actress whose goddess like beauty has covered for her lack of acting skills. When she is involved in a scandal, she loses top billing even when found innocent. Two years later she is hoping enough time has passed that she can climb back to the top. Her agent accidentally leaves a script where she can see it although it was intended for an actress that is currently popular. Seeing this as her chance to reclaim top billing, she convinces her agency to push to give her another chance. The screenwriter, whom she begs to pick her for the role, has one condition - she must train for the role by actually doing the job portrayed in the film. It just so happens her CEO has a cousin with a law firm who is also a huge fan of Oh Yoon-seo and is willing to let this inexperienced star volunteer at their firm to improve her acting. Things get off to a rocky start when the CEO of the law firm pairs her as the secretary to a lawyer named Kwon Jung-rok (Lee Dong-wook). Jung-rok is not impressed that Oh Yoon-seo is famous. He treats her coldly and impersonally as he does everyone and challenges her to actually perform the job she is volunteering for. But still water runs deep and, it turns out, there is a lot more to Yoo In-na than just beauty and she is determined to prove her worth to the very talented lawyer. Can the two bridge the two's seemingly insurmountable differences?

Spoilers*. I wasn't reluctant to watch this as the two had been a pair in Goblin and honestly I felt really lukewarm about their relationship in that drama. However, this was very different and I really liked them as a couple in this. I thought the actress might be more of a spoiled prima donna but she was not. In fact, I found her character to be really kind and personable. It was interesting because my expectations and bias of what she might be like was a mirror for what the male lead thought. He also played the cold, serious almost robotic lawyer really well. I always enjoy the trope where the right person is able to thaw someone's icy exterior. The cases it showed added some depth to the drama and kept my interest throughout. I thought the stalker angle was interesting and was actually a bit disappointed that it resolved so quickly and, relatively, easily. I was worried she would not make her come back and was very happy when she did. The only slight disappointment I had was that she went to all the work to make the comeback and then was going to give it up after only one role when it seemed like, as an actress, she had made huge strides in her acting ability. Guess I am greedy for my characters, I want them to have it all in love and life. It is a very good drama, with surprising depth, and yet very light hearted. I highly recommend this drama.

Could Have Been Better But Still Enough
Chaokage18 October 2020
The series overall is great and filled with hard, sad and funny moments as well. My only remark is for the lead actor Dong-Wook Lee. For some reason, despite all the great things his character has, I failed to connect with the way he portrayed his character. I can't put my finger around the reason why. If I'm gonna guess it might be how awkward it felt when he acted certain things. I think it lacked that cool factor. Overall, this series packs a punch when it comes to the romance and comedy and even the fighting scenes. Great watch overall. I still recommend it.

Pure Enjoyment
wheatley-2023027 March 2022
This light romantic comedy sucked me in. I really could not get enough of this odd couple romance. Both lead actors won you over, but Yoo In-Na in particular was a revelation: it is the first time I have seen her in the lead role and she shone oh-so very brightly.

This series rests entirely on their performances. Secondary characters add flavour but are carried by the central romance. A thriller sub-plot lasts for only a few episodes before we return to delighting in the lovely couple.

Pure enjoyment. I loved it.

While the premise and the actors were solid, I felt like the whole series just dragged on forever. I enjoyed it enough to finish, however I found myself binge watching so I could move on to other shows.

The best part about this show is the leads' chemistry
ninchenbienchen5 August 2022
...and some adorable side characters. But the overall story is quite flat, chliché and foreseeable. I feel like the producers felt the same way, which is why they included some court cases in the story that were disregarded in the middle of the show just to be put back on screen at the end of it to keep the viewers interested...? I don't know, but they seemed quite random at that point.

So yeah, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't overly good either.

A Favourite!
minad8716 October 2021
I'd put this one up there in my top 10. Honestly, I've rewatched this at least 10 times, it's so cute and lighthearted- really lovely to watch.

Both main characters are adorable, Jin-Shim is one of the cutest portrayals I've seen. Jong-Rok is the most awkward but cute guy ever. Really, if you want to see a cute love story- this is the one.

I absolutely hated the first 2 episodes of this drama and decided to abandon ship. However, I came back to it after a couple of weeks and I'm glad I did. This drama really does improve as it progresses. While at first glance, it appears to be frothy romantic twaddle (and it is that too), there are deeper themes at play and the two leads settle quite nicely into their roles. It's not going to blow your mind, but it's a worthwhile watch if this genre is your thing.

Let Yoo In-Na and Lee Dong Wook Touch Your Heart!
spasek20 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
What is the price of fame and integrity? Must one be sacrificed to insure the other? In this day and age, many celebrities are in the spotlight more than ever before. With social media being a constant problem, it's more challenging than ever for celebrities to live their own lives. That's not to say that it can't be done. Some of the world's biggest stars are able to separate their personal lives from stardom. Such people like Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington, and others are able to maintain their private lives while doing their job. For the most part, anyway.

If there as a "most common theme" for romantic comedies and dramas, it's the "opposites attract" dynamic. It's been done so often that it's often a surprise when one that works actually manifests. "Hometown Cha Cha Cha" is still one of my all-time favorites because of its genuineness and not falling into the cliches that are so typical and rampant in such series. "Our Beloved Summer" is still my favorite series involving "young" love.

I saw the high ratings of this series, but I kept putting it off because I wasn't sold on the fact that it wouldn't be like every other one that's come down the pike. Boy meets girl, they don't get along, they magically start liking each other, a conflict arises (usually a third-party boy/girl who's interested in one of our stars), and they resolve and get back together in the end.

What makes Touch Your Heart so endearing is the performance of Yoo In-Na and also Lee Dong Wook. Things start off in a typical fashion, but the journey is deeper than expected. And what surprised me was that the writer didn't throw anything into the series to churn things up. They remained true to the characters. Another reviewer posted that this was a binge-worthy series. Frankly, I found myself starting out watching one episode, then two per day, and soon I was up to three. The reviewer wasn't wrong in that.

A popular actress, Oh Yoon Seo finds her career nearly destroyed by a scandal involving drugs and a stalker. She's trying hard to make a comeback, but even her agent can't overlook that she's also infamously known for her "bad acting." However, she's finally given a small window of opportunity to star in a legal drama series. It's agreed that if she wants the part, she must gain some knowledge of how things work in the field of law. Thus, she's sent to work for three months at a small, but fairly prestigious law firm.

Oh Yoon Seo is almost childlike in her naivety and immaturity. Never having had to work in a place of business before, she's a bit like a fish out of water, lacking professionalism and experience. She shows up on the first day in a party dress that's too low up top and too short at the bottom. She has a tendency to pout and whine as well as rely heavily on others to do things and make decisions for her. She's someone who looks to be in her late twenties or early thirties but acts very much like someone in their late teens. Now, such characters have been done to death, and frankly, nearly all of them end up coming across as annoying and often unlikable. A seasoned actor knows how to take a character-who can come across as unlikable-and make them likeable despite the flaws. Yoo In-Na is a true master at her craft. She knows Oh Yoon Seo inside and out. She brings charm, elegance, and an almost childlike innocence that makes were so endearing to the viewer. Despite caring too much about being popular, and what everyone thinks about her, by the end of the series, she finally learns how to stand on her own two feet and appreciate what is truly important in life. It's not fame or popularity. It's having someone with you who vows to be with you no matter what. There isn't enough fame in the world to buy a companion like that.

Attorney Kwon Jung Rok is the best lawyer in the firm. He's also the coldest and stuffiest. He's so immersed in his job that he has little time for anyone or anything else. And he's given the unenviable task of taking on Oh Yoon Seo as his secretary. It's hilarious how put off she becomes when he doesn't even know who she is. He could care less that she's a popular actress. And, of course, the two of them do not hit it off well. He chews her out about her attire and lack of professionalism in the workplace. He has a job to do, and he makes her understand that she's not there to goof around and tinker on the internet. And he has absolutely no qualms about telling her exactly how he feels about her and their situation, which he never asked for, and initially sees as a burden.

One thing I tend to really like about Korean series is how they make their characters change and grow. As Kwon Jung Rok and Oh Yoon Seo grow closer together, we see Kwon Jung Rok begin to lighten up and enjoy himself. He's like a stiff block of ice that slowly begins to melt. He's very formal in his speech and how he carries himself. We even begin to see him smile-something he never really does from the outset. Conversely, we also see Oh Yoon Seo begin to appreciate the work ethic and what it means to do something well. Perhaps she was never considered a good actress because she never put in the time and effort. She relied solely on her popularity. But she also begins to realize the strength in being able to stand on one's own feet. And Kwon Jung Rok is a master at that. He knows he's not popular at the firm or around most people. He knows the things that are said about him, but he really doesn't allow those things to affect him. In short, he lives his own life without excuses or apologies. Oh Yoon Seo cannot say that about herself.

Another fascinating dynamic that is handled extremely well is this: exactly how does one date a well-known celebrity and handle all of the things that go with that? It doesn't take long for Kwon Jung Rok to find himself thrown into the deep end of that world. A world of gossip, criticism, and scandal are popular everyday things that a celebrity must deal with. Thanks to Oh Yoon Seo's annoying and meddlesome manager, he convinces Kwon Jung Rok to end the relationship. I've said it in other interviews: I can't stand meddlers. Such people are like wolves in sheep's clothing. They claim that they have the other person's interests at heart, when in fact, the only person they are thinking about is themselves. Her manager never considers discussing it with Oh Yoon Seo, and the reasons he gives to Kwon Jung Rok are entirely selfish and about him.

Break-up scenes have been done so many times in so many series, that you can easily see them coming. In most cases, the breakups are not handled well. This series was no exception, especially when you summarily discount and dismiss everything that has gone on before. Kwon Jung Rok breaks up with Oh Yoon Seo, and there's barely even an attempt at discussing things or trying to figure out why. Yes, Kwon Jung Rok gave reasons, but it's exactly because it was so out-of-the-blue, that Oh Yoon Seo would have realized that something was off. I wish writers would put more thought and intelligence into these moments.

The performances across the board are stellar. This is the third drama I've seen with Oh Jung Se, and he's simply incredible in everything I've seen him in. I've seen him as an autistic character in "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," a hardened criminal in "The Good Detective," and now as the often-comedic CEO of the law firm.

I truly loved the integrity of Kwon Jung Rok that he never really wavered in his devotion and trust to Oh Yoon Seo. He never saw her as a celebrity but simply as a woman he fell in love with. Isn't that what everyone-including celebrities-want? Perhaps that is why Oh Yoon Seo fell for him as well.

Yoo In-Na has a way of completely captivating the viewer with her charm. This is the first series I've ever seen with her. I was blown away when I read her profile and read that she's 40! She has a way of conveying emotions with simple expressions that just make you want to cuddle up to someone like that. However, I also loved seeing begin to grow stronger as Oh Yoon Seo finds the courage to deal with things herself, rather than always relying on other people. And, of course, the end-which was the one thing I was hoping for-when she finally announces her relationship to Kwon Jung Rok at the party. Yoo In-Na also has an absolutely captivating smile! Her whole face lights up!

No one should have to apologize or make consolations for anyone in how they live their lives, celebrities included! I'm constantly appalled by the things that agents, studios, and managers ask celebrities to do, all for the sake of money and promotions. Such people are weasels and have no integrity.

This was a wonderful series that is light, often filled with very humorous situations, but also conveys important messages. Live your own life. Don't live by anyone else's rules. To do so is to give your power away. Learn to have fun and enjoy yourself. And perhaps above all, never compromise your integrity and self-respect for fame and popularity. Such things are always fleeting and do not last, while integrity and self-respect are assets to carry with you for the rest of your life.

If you're in the mood for some light hearted romcom then this is a perfect one. The lead pair have sooo much of chemistry, that you will end up watching it purely for them. Lot of hilarious scenes, borderline cheesy at times but it is equally enjoyable too! I think they should date on real life! 😀

it grows on you
htaeskookie25 September 2021
The lead couple in this show in honestly one of the best I've ever seen in a kdrama. That being said let me explain why I took some points off, and why or why not you should watch this drama.

I struggled so hard to get through first few episodes, i nearly dropped the show. The female lead was a bit too cutesy for my liking and she seemed to lack any depth of character. Meanwhile, the lead actor's acting made me feel like he didn't want to be there, which was disappointing because I know he's a very capable actor. I think the first few episodes alone are why I took off 3 stars. Maybe it felt so unbearable because I fixated on those faults too much and didn't give it a proper chance, so perhaps you will have a much better experience with it.

With that being said, I'm glad I stuck around. I'll break it down into three main reasons (beware of vague plot spoilers, nothing huge though). 1) it's not your typical enemies to lovers trope where they take the whole season to finally admit their feelings. The characters aren't oblivious and catch onto their mutual feelings quite early on. 2) The lead characters grow on you. The female lead was presented as this cutesy, pretentious actress at first but you'll come to see that she's actually quite strong and caring towards others. The male lead isn't your typical grumpy boss (maybe a bit, but it's to a bearable extent). He is a bit clueless with love but I think my next point is why I was okay with it. 3) The lead characters help each other grow and are truly supportive of each other. I could clearly see the character development in the lead characters, which I loved because it was proof of how attentive and caring they were of each other. There wasn't any petty jealously or unnecessary drama, they were honest with their feelings which was SUCH a nice change from your typical kdrama.

As for the side characters and plot. The secondary couple grew on me, although it was a bit late in the drama. The side characters were a bit bland if I'm being honest, they weren't bad but I didn't feel much attachment to them. As in any kdrama, there was a darker side plot that built up by the end. I see how it was relevant to the development of the plot and characters but it was still a bit unnecessary feeling. Good news is that it was overbearing so I just pushed through it with some patience.

All in all, I would recommend this show. Whether you're here after Goblin or not. It's a nice lighthearted romcom if you're in the mood for something fun.

Mr_Avenger2 April 2022
Touch your heart seems more like an hybrid of "What's wrong with secretary Kim" and "Suspicious Partner" . The story is very predictable and that's really boring. The chemistry of the main leads is not remarkable too. They didn't touch my heart...sorry.

marchafitra22 February 2019
I personally watch it at first because of the top actress and actor who played the main character. But somehow the storyline in every episode keeps your heart pumps. AND FUNNY AS HELL. I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING. not only the chemistry of the main couple. Other supporting actresses/actors add the beautiful + Hilarious chemistry of romantic comedy. I can't stop watching this and after you finished one episode you keep wanting more. The first episode is a bit slow but after 2nd episode. I swear they're addictive.
