The plot to "The Box" is very simple. However, due to some lovely animation and a nice story, it's a short film I heartily recommend.
The film begins with an old man hiding in his house as a mouse makes its way to the kitchen, onto the counter and into a trap. However, the old guy is no monster...and he feels sorry for the creature...and ultimately attempts to befriend it.
The animation is top notch CGI...and is as good as you'll find these days. Considering this, you would assume those who made the film have a bright future in the industry. All I know is that I found it adorable.
