  • There is no female nudity or sexuality of any kind. There are numerous shots of men without shirts, none of which are sexual in nature.

Violence & Gore

  • Pervasive and prolonged scenes of action/martial arts violence throughout the film, from beginning to end. Included in these fight sequences are punches, kicks, head-butts, breaking of bones (with crunching sounds), and weapons injuries (eg lacerations, punctures, heavy strikes, and chops). There is no gore, per se, but there is a considerable and consistent amount of blood yielded from the fighting and weapons sequences. No bloody scene is prolonged or overly graphic in content (ie no gore) but the weapons scenes produce near-realistic lacerations and injuries, and the hand to hand combat scenes are also viewed with near-realistic bloodletting.

  • A maniac kills several people mercilecessly. He usea sharp onjects to slash, stab people. Spalshes of blood are seen ramdomly. On 2 ocassiaons he severes hands of a person. Thogh is happens off screen, the severed hand is shown clealry.
  • IN a swordfight fight several people are injured and killed. Details are shown. Modereate violence.
  • People are shot with arrows repeatedly. In one scene an arrow is shot through a womans throat. She dies soon after.

Profanity

  • The majority of the dialog is in Korean but there are a few (choppy) English phrases spoken. Both the (spoken) English and the subtitled Korean dialog have a handful of profane utterances. There is not consistent and prolonged use of profanity, however. Only a handful of instances.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There is one occurrence of drinking and two or three instances of smoking, which may or may not be marijuana.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There are several intense fight sequences, many of which last for minutes at a time. Nothing frightening, however, at least in the traditional sense.
