Great concept but very poor execution

This movie is an obvious knock off to the cars series by Pixar but I have a feeling that if Pixar made this movie, it would be much better.

Thanks for comparing Bikes The Movie to Cars is quite a compliment to a movie on a humble budget. The question is, would Pixar be capable of producing an animated film with 5% of the budget of one of its films, such as Bikes The Movie.

Speedy, a young mountain biker, lives in Spokesville, a land where everyone has two wheels. Fast and thirsty for adventure, little Speedy's dream is to become a professional racer. With that in mind, he dedicates hours and hours of his life to training for speed and endurance. But one day a bicycle with a gasoline engine arrives in town and tries to convince everyone of the advantages of this new way of getting around. This, of course, will appeal to many of the bikes, who consider that this is the right formula for not getting tired. With the exception of Speedy and a few close friends who, in addition to not seeing any advantage in not using the pedals, are starting to worry about the pollution levels of the place where they live...

More than an animation, a constructive social critique of the evils of progress and its inappropriate use, and the obscure future of the next generations... analogies for the contemporary world and the unrestrained use of extractivism and consumption of non-renewable natural sources... A beautiful animation, with multicolored graphics, revolves around the bikes... It's worth it...

The most incredible movie of all time

This movie is truly a masterpiece. Speedy is a very inspirational character as well as the others. I was pleasantly surprised to see the mix of cultures within this film. With the bikes speaking Portuguese and the signs both being in Chinese and English, I truly felt my world view widen. This movie showed the harmful effects of capitalism while also showing how climate change is drastically affecting our world. Greta Thunberg would be proud. Thank you bikes for restoring my faith in this cruel world. It made me reconnect with my relationship in god. Also my family. I hadn't spoken to them in years but after finishing this movie, I decided to give them a call. God is good.
