- Nine high school friends have a five-year reunion camping in a forest. They all have secrets. An unknown person straps a time bomb to each of them. Killing another gives one their time. Last one lives.
- Nine friends, all harboring a dark secret, go camping in the woods. After a wild night of partying, they wake up with SUICIDE BOMBS strapped to their chests, all with varying times on their countdown clocks. They decide to work out how to disarm the bombs or find help - until they discover they can 'take' one another's time by killing each other.
- At night two men are shown near a cave, one of them is beaten and tied up, is revealed to be detective Miller, the other man is angrily asking the other questions. When this goes nowhere, the other man pulls out two remotes and uses one to turn on the vest that Miller is wearing. In the present, a group of former high school friends reunite for a camping trip. The group includes valedictorian Rian (Reine Swart) and her boyfriend PJ (Cameron Scott), a rock drummer; popular Ezra (Steven John Ward), wallflower Erin (Liesl Ahlers), couple Shay (Suraya Rose dos Santos) and Bobby (Michael Lawrence Potter), best friends Amber (Paige Bonnin) and Cici (Kayla Privett), and the brooding Kato (Russell Crous). As the group attempts to turn in for the night, they are knocked out by gas placed by a mysterious figure and Erin, who discovers the gas, is knocked out. The nine awaken and find themselves strapped to suicide bomb vests.
The man responsible is Mr. Peterson (Sean Cameron Michael), the group's former science teacher. He confronts the group holding them at gunpoint, as he holds them responsible for the death of his son Caleb, who died of a drug overdose at a party they all organized and attended, he also reveals how that destroyed his family as not long after his son's death, his wife also overdosed on drugs out of grief. He sets off various timers on each student's vest and tells them that only one of them will survive, before proceeding to kill himself in front of the group. When they find a battered Bobby, who had been separated from the group, it's revealed that he helped Mr. Peterson and was responsible for the group going to the woods. Bobby apologizes, explaining that he was blackmailed by Peterson as back in high school he had confided in him about how he was bisexual. But after his son's death, he decided to use this as leverage and followed him to a gay club where he took photos of him with other men. Bobby attempts to kill Kato with a hidden knife, but it is too late and the vest explodes, killing him.
After Bobby, PJ has the lowest time and begs Rian to help. However, when he is startled by Shay, he accidentally kills her with a high impact blow to the head with his flashlight. He and Rian discover Shay's time has been added to PJ's vest, thus giving him the highest time. Rian tells the group about what had happened and realizes that he got the time because of "proximity sensors" as he was the closest to Shay when she died, as a result he got her time. But Rian also realizes what Mr. Peterson meant when he said only one of them would live as they would have to kill each other to get more time in order to survive. Unbeknownst to them, Cici who has the next lowest score overhears their conversation and goes insane and goes after the group. When Cici learns Amber had been sleeping with Ezra thanks to Kato telling her, Amber defends herself and kills her best friend. Kato convinces Amber to ally with him to kill the others so they can be the last ones standing.
Ezra convinces Erin to team up with him and the two find a man bloodied and tied up in the forest. Erin recognizes him as Detective Miller, Rian's father. Miller tells the two that Peterson forced him to reopen Caleb's case and had strapped him to a vest as well. He reveals that he discovered that Caleb's death was not an accident, it was discovered from a toxicology report that Caleb had five times the lethal dose of ecstasy, meaning someone intentionally gave him that amount of ecstasy and killed him as a result. Miller reveals that Peterson also showed him that he brought a second remote that can apparently deactivate the vests. As he is mortally wounded, Ezra kills Miller, but since Erin is the closest one, she gets his time. Ezra did it as the first selfless act he's done as he has had a reputation as a selfish playboy type. Ezra gives her the gun and tells her to do what needs to be done in order to survive this demented game, and reveals that he believes he knows who killed Caleb. Ezra leaves and confronts Kato as he was the one who brought the Ecstasy to the party that Caleb died at five years ago and believes he was the one who killed Caleb, the two fight each other as Kato claims his innocence. As Erin looks for Rian, Kato, now gone insane, kills Ezra as revenge for Amber. Erin finds Rian and tells her about her father's ordeal and unfortunate fate, she also reveals the second remote that her father mentioned before his death.
Meanwhile, Kato shoots PJ in the head and then betrays Amber for sleeping with Ezra and chops her repeatedly with an axe. While Rian locates the second remote her father mentioned on Peterson's body and attempts to turn the vest off, but it is revealed to be a trap set by Peterson as her vest, displays the message "Nice Try". It causes the timers on her, Erin's, and Kato's vests to reset to match the time Rian has left on hers. Rian then decides to kill Erin, but cannot bring herself to kill her, and run off to avoid Kato. As they are walking Erin confesses that she felt responsible for Caleb's death as she was the one who introduced him to the group. That caused his death, she always believed that had she not introduced Caleb to them, he never would've died and they wouldn't be in this situation.
But Rian guilt ridden breaks down and confesses that she is the one who killed Caleb, but reveals it was just a horrible accident. She admits to slipping him ecstasy that she took from Kato's stash that he brought to Ezra's party five years ago because he had a higher GPA than her and she was desperate to be valedictorian. As that would guarantee her a scholarship that she desperately needed, as her father's pension couldn't cover the expenses. She only meant to give him a small dose, enough so that it would be detected in a drug test and ruin his chances, but she miscalculated the amount in the dosage and ended up giving him too much. She reveals that she had her father and other people cover it up (which explains why he was also kidnapped as he knew the truth, but kept it hidden to protect his daughter). Kato, upon hearing the confession, sneak attacks and kills Rian. However, Rian falls in Erin's arms and thus, she gets the time, which angers Kato.
Kato taunts Erin, who has always been the quiet one. However, Erin gains the confidence she desperately needed and incapacitates Kato by shooting his legs, as she had more time then him which caused her to realize that all she had to do is outrun him. Kato tries to kill himself before the timer runs out, however he is unable to do so and his timer reaches zero and explodes. Erin's vest glows, revealing a message that reads: "All your friends are dead! Have a nice life!" Before deactivating, allowing her to take it off, leaving her devastated as all her friends are dead.
A post-credit scene shows Erin find her way onto a road and manages to flag down a passing car. However, he sees her gun and drives away. Erin screams, and then slowly begins to smile. (thanks to Wikipedia)
