The series is sweet and simple. I think this is my favourite part about it; the series doesn't tries to solve world problems or women inequality. It just portrays them as it is in a very fun and humours way. Plus the way of narration from a normal and aspiring girl done in a very suitable way was pleasantly satisfying. The cast was effective and even the supporting actor had passion and weren't one toned. Every episode packs a punch, with many witty dialogues, fun plots and thankfully no overacting (,overdrama) and no cringy love story. The series is funny, will always leave you in chuckles and totally worthy of binge watching.

Awesome web series which explain everything happens in hostel life, fight, relationship, and funny things. But pls upload episodes weeky...don't delay too much. Last episode was uploaded alomst 20 day ago.

For some reason I am unable to find Season 1 on Sony Liv. Nevertheless the story was presented in an interesting and hilarious way. I think whoever stayed in hostel can relate to most of it. Parul Gulati and Shrishti Srivastava shines in this series. I would definitely love to watch more episodes.

Excellent show fast and to the point .brilliant performances by Srishti Shrivastava, Parul Gulati, Simran Natekar, Ahsaas Channa, & Shreya Mehta all delivered again above the expectation. Show raises some serious issues but will not disappoint if you are looking for humor & comedy.Best women oriented show ever.

They have such a good content and its very good interesting spicy one but these guys release it once a month !! Ask anyone they won't know the details of episode 3 while watching episode 4 !!! Common guys release a little early

This is my first IMDb rating/review and doing it only because of how good I found Girls Hostel to be. I first discovered this show a week ago and despite it having been a week, I've re-watched it some 3-4 times now.

What works for the show is that the universe it creates is contemporary, relatable, and has smart comic references. Every character perfectly adds value to the narrative - be it the warden who is a laugh riot every single time (such an on-point performance by Trupti Khamkar), or Palak, or Twitter. Goes without saying that the girls are just incredible - Srishti, Parul, Ahsaas, Simran, thank you for such well-placed performances. May you guys flourish as actors and find projects which only grow your career trajectory more.

The show is self-aware, does not shy from taking strong and necessary sociopolitical stands, and explores each character arc beautifully. Two favorite bits:

• When Zahira goes Live and makes her impactful speech about Mili while Jo is taking it all out on the View Point......and the scene closes with The Darker Side playing. This scene packs such a punch. Brilliant overall editing and execution.

• The last scene of S2 (this is the scene Srishti and Parul have mentioned in their promotional interviews about how they found prepping and doing this scene particularly profound). Damn. It leaves things on such a melancholic cliffhanger, especially how Jo exits the screen and then towards the absolute last few seconds, Zahira abruptly ceases to smile and looks in Jo's direction (quite subtle but its there).

The background music and tracks by Vaibhav Bundhoo are an underlying treat.

TVF and all the writers/makers of the show: Lets not make S3 come after 2 years this time. As many reviews here and on YouTube reflect, the audiences are eager for Jo-Zahira-Gurpreet's arc and for this show to keep going on. Also, more power for continuing to ace the Bechdel Test.

I love the concept of the series and would love to get to see atleast 3 episodes per month rather than one every month.. It's a really long wait for a 30min episode. But since I love the storyline so far I'm rating it 10/10 because it is so darn relatable.

Guys plz release the next episode or next season. It's really interesting.. all the girls in this series are doing well. Can't wait for next episode. It creates curiosity now what will be the next. So plz release it early as possible.

The storyline of this series is just amazing and Acting is also superb. Story and Acting both are too much natural.

When the first episode of this season was aired, i liked it so much, i shared with lots of my friends. And i waited like I'm waiting for GOT, and the second episode was quick and okey. But the third one was crap and now its almost a month and you haven't uploaded yet. So not a good rating. Sorry.

The story line of the web series is really nice and is very interesting but the only problem is that they don't update the new episode frequently which makes the viewer irritated and forgets what was there in the earlier episode

Binge watched both the seasons and such amazing series man. This is a great example of how good the digital content is than bollywood movies. The story, characters, cast everything is just amazing. Please do watch it this will never disappoint you.

Plot: We have action, politics, a bully, a lone wolf, a protagonist with misbeliefs, a love story, an even heart warming friendship story, real problems faced by students on a daily basis. Yes being a girl adds upto a dimension of biases faced by girls, and it only makes the story more colorful. Very realistic relationship between friends and long lost friendships.

Actors: Let alone the leads, even side characters have such depth in them and the way each actor efficiently portrays their presence as an actor and a character, it would put bollywood to shame(not for the sake of name calling but I said what I said).

Direction and Cinematography: Amazingly planned and executed. Nothing felt artificial or out of place. Hats off to the director for keeping it organic.

I AM FANGIRLING OVER JO. I AM CRAVING FOR A FRIEND LONG LOST TO DIFFERENCES UNSAID. I AM BAWLING MY EYES OUT REMEMBERING MY GIRLS' HOSTEL DAYS!!

Please start another season of girls hostel. Love you so much all specially Mili 😘😘

Each episode takes like forever to be out . How can u even expect people to rate u good stars . U r losing good amount of audience guys . Please work on this .

I loved the acting of entire cast great work done by parul

This show is awesome. The hostel life, fights, dominancy of senior's, etc, etc. were fun to watch. Waiting for next season to come ASAP.

The girliyapa is one of those channels which continuously breaking the entertainment industry rules in positive way. All performances are great but "Mili" is one of my fav. Good story with interesting plots and friendship, education, career, hostel life, girls issues, romance, family/society pressure on girls etc etc they have shown very well. Waiting for next season eagerly please release next season asap.

Bringing such a basic concept of the hostel life and making it to a thrill,comedy and so indulging is what I call perfection ! Perfect cast and lineup of the story🔥

Yes .... Series bhot hi achii hai..apko disappoint nhi hone deti...and the best...aur jya kahu....acting is just amazing ....luv u all .... Waiting for season 3...hope ... it'll.... We want Jo and Zahira's friendship back.
