The Best Scientific Documentary Ever Made? I'd like to put this documentary up for consideration as the greatest ever. I'm an enthusiastic amateur astronomer and a NASA Solar System Ambassador (a volunteer position) so I'm fascinated by the universe, but I believe this will appeal to a large audience because of it's focus on the human characters and their commitment.
It's difficult to grasp, and this gets mentioned in the documentary, just how important a discovery this is for mankind.
