- A man makes a few sexual jokes while hanging out with his sister.

- The very brief scenes of innuendo will fly over kid's heads.
Violence & Gore

- A group of teenage girls are killed offscreen. We see a bit of blood spilling, but it's not graphic. We also hear a bit of crunching, which might be bones, but not much is shown at all.
- A man gets stung by a bee. Throughout the entire movie his arm starts to decay and rot. We see him peeling away some of his skin including one of his finger nails.
- A woman's head is bashed against a window and is smeared across the window creating a large streak of blood. This is all shown from a far distance.
- A little boys big sister and her friend are brutally murdered offscreen. The boy cracks open the door and we see blood smeared all over the walls and a bit on the floor. This is very east to miss thought.
- Most of the kills are shown offscreen, and are not overly graphic.
- The most graphic scene is when someone gets their throat slit, with a brief blood spray, however it is brief.
Profanity

- Frequent uses of strong language. 34 use of 'fuck' and other profanity
- The word 'nigger' is used by a Black character at least once, but not in a derogatory manner.

- Many jump scares but also truly deeply disturbing moments of scary, gory and nightmarish imagery
- Flashing images. Released with an epilepsy warning.
- There are a lot of scenes where Shadow Puppets are used to tell flashbacks. These scenes are quite creepy.
- There are references to racial discrimination and violence. In one scene, a Black high school student is verbally taunted by a group of white counterparts.
- The Candyman looks frightening.

Violence & Gore
- Someone has their hand sawed off and then has a meat hook jabbed into the stump. Everything onscreen. Graphic.
- Candyman walks out of a house and starts brutally murdering cops with his hook hand. One of them gets their throat cut open. Blood splatters on a car window.
- A couple is graphically killed. The woman has her neck slashed open with tons of blood splashing onto the wall. The extremely graphic wound is shown. The man then has his ankle cut open and he is dragged across the floor. We then see a brief glimpse of his chest charred up and cut open.
- A man is violently stabbed to death with a pen. Blood sprays on the woman's face.
- A man is shot twice offscreen. We see a blood splatter beneath his head.
- Extreme Violence Horror.
