I enjoyed a couple of the couples on the show; most of the relationships seemed doomed but it was entertatining nonetheless. I truly loved the older couple's story and progression. Granted, I am writing this as I am watching the second episode so take my words with a grain of salt.

Erik is a creepier version of the guy from "you". Every relationship is doomed because history repeats itself.

I found it entertaining to my surprise. The couples were nicely picked and well balanced overall. A bit corny, but amusing as a filler.
All the couples have their own little things about them that I loved and didn't like about them. I really disliked Meg. I thought she was emotionally immature. She can't have a hard conversation without walking off. It is so annoying as she is a grown woman. They will not make it because of this. She is also unwilling to admit any of her faults. She couldn't even say that Jeremy was the one for her. Ok enough about Meg. Erik is another one I hated. He is such a meat head and he seems unchanged and he is just pretending to be a nice guy. Lauren is awesome, but she is a bad judge of character. She was right not to give it up so early. Lol. I like Kate and cam. They're very cute together. I also like that Kate was willing to admit that she messed up by cheating that's a big deal when you're trying to start over.

The series is short, so it is easy to watch the whole thing together and doesn't take too much time. The couples are varied in age and generation, so it may appeal to different groups of viewers. Everyone may wonder what would happen if you regretted breaking up with and old X and tried to get back together with them. This follows couples of different situations where they agree to try. 1 couple were HS sweethearts where the girl took her boyfriend for granted and cheated on him, they broke up and she now has regrets and wants to get back, 1 couple had a guy who kept coming into his girlfriends life and disappears all the time - he leaves and moves to different countries then comes back to her then does it again and again. Now he regrets losing her and wants to come back. Another couple is older and were on opposite sides of the world (US & Australia) and had a real love fling at age 19. They are now in the 50s and both divorced and the man can't stop thinking of his first love and wants to get back, and finally last couple which everyone might agree who has watched it is a jerk of a guy who controls the girl's every bit of her life and she accepted it all in the past when she had finally had enough and broken it off - now 3 years later he wants back. Shows the journeys and endings. A little lacking and since Aussie show some of the words are different than am used to and definitely some strange attitudes am not used to in Australia.

That guy is a serial killer. Run, sis. RUN.
Really enjoyed the series, lots of ups and downs. I hope there's a second season.

I started looking at this in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. During the lockdown everything got so depressing that I needed a reality series. These sequences are naturally very hilarious because you can forget about your own problems.
However, this storyline is very long-winded and people make it more of a laughing-stock television than a reality series. All characters have been magnified to such an extent that some even appear in a negative way. Everything just seems to be played and sometimes I have the feeling that certain pieces have been played 2 or 3 times and that it no longer happens spontaneously.
After only a few episodes I gave up my attempt to finish this series. It's okay to laugh, but you should never let people fall for entertainment.

Sad to see that Aussie shows can be as bad as American ones. Silly, contrived drama between the couples.
