Nothing new.

Cliché formula all the way: a group of teenagers decide to shoot a horror in the forest but then..something goes terribly wrong.

Look I'm all for indie movies, low budget productions, because most of the times, when you're in need of things you can't have, you truly get creative, and this process leads to some pretty amazing results. Not here tho, the plot isn't as smart as it wanted to be, the characters were mostly annoying attached to weak acting, but I have noticed some ok humor here and there.

Very few things come in mind when trying to describe GetAWAY without ruining the movie for others, I mean if a slasher is your thing, try something like You Might Be The Killer, it is far better and delivers on more levels. I would say that this one falls flat, yet in all honesty, it gets a tad better right at the ending, even tho, that one has been used in such productions way too many times, so overall, GetAWAY is a copycat of this genre, not a good one, not a creative one, and sadly, easily noticed, a cheap one as well. No reasons to recommend.

Decent slasher flick

Came across this one on Amazon prime and it is atleast worth a watch.

You can tell this is a small budget indie flick right off the bat, which made me appreciate it more.

Features a pretty high body count, but the film itself wasn't overly gory. Most of the deaths were pretty quick and showed some slashes of blood.

The camp setting was a nice place to film this at, especially when it was dark.

Now most of the acting was surprisingly decent for this kind of film.

The scarecrow killer stalks and films his murders throughout this, so it should tell you from the very beginning that our killer is one of the main college kids in this, however the identity of the 2nd killer comes as a complete shock. Even the identity of the first killer will throw you off also. See if you can figure it out by some of the clues they leave.

Overall not bad at all.

Nice enough slasher flick but lacking one essential

T&A! ;) Not much, unfortunately. Otherwise a reasonable enough way to while away an hour and a half. Seen better, seen worse.

College students make a film

College students make a film of college students making a horror film. And it seems as if they went overboard with trying it to be genuine. Boring premise with subpar production and cliched acting don't help this film in its execution. Nothing new and tired.
