Now, with the premiere date so close, we, naturally, know a lot about the movie, and we have to say that we actually did expect the release of a final trailer around this time, and we can confirm that the trailer is finally out and that we are going to bring it to you as you might have expected.
Bluelock The Movie -Episode Nagi- will continue the anime adaptation of one of the most popular sports manga titles in recent years. Focusing on football (soccer), Bluelock became a massive hit after its first season, and while we’re still waiting for a confirmation of a second season, the series will continue.

The first slate presentation of CinemaCon 2024 was not a look at Warner Bros. or Disney films; it was a plea for how anime may be the unheralded savior of movie theaters.
It was a wake-up moment for the Caesar’s Palace Colosseum’s worth of local and regional exhibitors who hold little interest in the Japanese art form adapted by manga but are all looking for ways to make yen.
Presenter Mitchel Berger, Crunchyroll’s senior VP of global commerce, had a three-part plan to capture and keep his audience’s attention.
Step 1: Remind theater owners they already know the Sony-owned Crunchyroll from its “Demon Slayer” and “Dragonball” franchises, as well as Makoto Shinkai’s 2023 critical darling “Suzume.”
Step 2: Wow them with new content, including 10 minutes of the highly anticipated “Spy x Family Code: White.”
And last, but definitely not least: Inform the CinemaCon audience exactly what anime is.

Watching shojo anime is my Roman Empire, my raison d'etre. As someone who prefers to be in the audience rather than a participant in romantic relationships, gushing over fictional couples is my way of experiencing love. I’ve been an avid fan who has consumed shojo from the late ‘90s to now. Though it’s had its ups and downs over the years, shojo has been seeing a renaissance recently, which means more couples for me to cheer on. As one does for the fictional characters they love, here are my favorite shojo anime couples who made it official. Spoilers ahead so read at your own discretion! Yuki and Itsuomi – A Sign of Affection I’ve never felt more butterflies in my stomach for a fictional couple than Yuki and Itsuomi from A Sign of Affection . They’re, dare I say, the perfect match — a boy who loves to travel...

Sports anime and manga series generally do quite well in Japan, although they are not as popular in the West as some other shounen titles (just look at Haikyuu!! or Slam Dunk), but there are some exceptions. One of the most recent ones is the football (soccer)-centered manga series Bluelock by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. Published since 2018, the manga currently has 28 collected volumes and is still ongoing.
On top of that, a 24-episode anime adaptation was produced in 2022, becoming one of that year’s major and most popular titles. The anime series has been renewed for a second season, but that is not all, as it has been confirmed that the spin-off manga, Bluelock Movie -Episode Nagi-, will also be adapted in the form of a movie, which is set to come out on April 19, 2024 in Japan.

As a fan of fighting games, Tekken 8 was pretty high on my video games of 2024 list. I’ve been playing the games since the very beginning, back when there were only eight characters until you unlocked the rest. Tekken has always been a unique franchise to me, from the ongoing Mishima family “let me grab my popcorn” mess to the fact that some of the lore is unapologetically bizarre. You’d think the multiple bear characters were a joke, but not only are they part of the ongoing story, they aren’t even the weirdest fighter you can pick — and I love every minute of it. One of the greatest things about anime is that you really can’t judge a book by its cover. For example, you can have a series as wholesome as Fruits Basket be deeply buried in family trauma while a series as delightfully chaotic as Chainsaw Man can make you appreciate the self-care that comes with finally having a second to wash your face, brush your teeth, make a cup of coffee, read the paper and do some cleaning. That said, the Chainsaw Man anime is wild! Best Shoujo Romance Anime of All Time — You’re Not Ready for These(Photo Credit –IMDb)
Best shoujo anime aren’t always high-school romances. They often explore multiple genres, offering stories that go beyond the scope of typical teenage love.
Anime like “Naruto,” “Jujutsu Kaisen,” “Dragon Ball Z,” and many more have the baton for being the signature anime for the industry; they are what many call ‘shonen’ anime. However, other genres have good shows. One highly overlooked genre is the ‘shoujo’ genre in anime and manga. It gets ignored often because of its cutesy vibes and girly undertones.
Shoujo means ‘girl’ anime and is mainly aimed at teenage girls and young adult women. These anime and manga almost always have females as their lead characters and are mostly centered around romance. They also sometimes have mystery, action, and fantasy blended into them. Here are some perfect shoujo romance anime to watch.

"Fruits Basket" has always been a deceiving anime. What started off as a lighthearted supernatural comedy about boys who transform into animals when hugged by members of the opposite sex (quirky!) slowly revealed itself to be a potent and heartbreaking drama about domestic abuse, generational trauma, social anxiety, depression, and ultimately, that accepting that the unconditional support of an abnormally cheery girl is just as good as therapy.

Here’s something new: a Pixar feature that includes (gasp) the use of the word “sexy.” In Domee Shi’s charming feature directorial debut, “Turning Red,” an assortment of factors — from the big-time crush that inspires winning leading lady Mei to draw some self-professed “sexy” pictures to the onset of puberty and even the imminent arrival of a beloved boy band to her native Toronto, plus a family curse — conspire to turn plucky 13-year-old Mei into…a giant red panda.
The film follows all the adventures that stem from that clever idea, many of them rooted in the wildness of not just turning into, again, a giant red panda, but of being a teenager coming of age and all the outsized emotions and obsessions that accompany that. It’s specific, yes, but it’s also so rooted in genuine human experiences that it can’t help but appeal to a very wide audience.

Hulu is providing some action-packed options next month for those looking for a switch-up on holiday cheer.
The streaming service will debut “Reprisal,” a hyper-noir story that follows a relentless femme fatale (Abigail Spencer) who, after being left for dead, sets out to take revenge against her brother and his bombastic gang of gearheads. It also launches Season 3 of “Marvel’s Runaways” on Dec. 13. If that wasn’t enough, several movies from the “Fast & Furious” franchise are hitting Hulu, plus both “Kill Bill: Volume 1” and “Kill Bill: Volume 2.”
Those dedicated to consuming holiday-only content can watch NBC’s “Holidays With the Houghs” with Julianne and Derek Hough, a song-and-dance performance show featuring special guest artist performances. Ellen DeGeneres will also be giving gifts with the help of celebrity friends on her “Ellen’s Greatest Night of Giveaways” special.
