On March 23, 2018 there was a suspected direct energy or sonic attack on personnel working at the US consulate at Guangzhou China. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, stated the incident mirrored a similar event in November 2016, where US diplomats based in Cuba started to complain of odd ailments, including dizziness, nausea and hearing problems. More than 20 members of staff in Havana were harmed in the "health attacks" that has lead to a mild form of traumatic brain injury. With respect to the consulate attack in China, the State Department said "any unusual acute auditory or sensory phenomena accompanied by unusual sounds or piercing noises, do not attempt to locate their source. Instead, move to a location where the sounds are not present."
On March 4, 2018 Former Russian Spy Sergei Skripal, 66, and his 33-year-old daughter, Yulia, were found in Salisbury Park in the United Kingdom that left them hospitalized for weeks. The cause of which was determined to be Novichok poisoning, a nerve agent. It was suspected that the Russian Government was behind the attack.
