- One of sailors has several bloody lacerations scattered over his back and chest. Later we see him getting sewed up by some sort of first aid sailor. While he's being sewed up he jumps around and moves about the cabin speaking to other sailors and the sailor sewing him up has to quickly jump about as well and follow him to continue sewing or not pull out the thread

- The demise of the first beast has a man jumping and plunging a harpoon like spear into the beast's chest. The beast's eyes roll back in its head.
- A lot of stabbing, harpooning the sea creature beasts. Being attacked many of the sailors chop of the tentacles and a greenish liquid sprays out.
- When the first sea beast is assumed dead, the captain from underwater, pulls out a saw and saws off the beast's horn.

- Jacob does say bloody hell when fighting the beasts on the island
