Warning: Spoilers
Continuing my marathon of documentary films made available by Disney+, this will be my eighth watch.

I'll watch and comment. Jeez, Trump is already starting to appear, oh my. Of course he was going to bad.

The people who are against this and in favor of Trump/Bolsonaro are very selfish, they only think about their own money.

Sad for the people who suffered from the catastrophes.

Wow, how sad the fire on the horses.

It would be more interesting if there were more people against it debating global warming.

Conclusion: I found it interesting and important, but it would be cooler if there were two sides debating, those on the right go crazy. Potencial.

A pro-corporate take
leemail-1715420 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This film was funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies and, while it showcased some nice local efforts and wasn't without merit -- it largely promoted corporate actions, like solar panel installations, as the solution to climate change. I'm not sure the term "fossil fuel industry" was uttered once after the first 5 minutes.

The film's approach was so strange that in the middle, after viewing the 19th field of solar panels, I took out my phone to google whether Mr. Bloomberg invests in solar panel companies. It was that heavy handed. Bloomberg was a big proponent of fracking, so his climate change cred is dubious.

When I got home, I googled the affiliations of some of the experts who were interviewed. Niskanen Center was one I recall. Per Niskanen's website: "We provide frequent commentary from a free market, climate realist perspective." Kind of tells you the slant of this film.

It's about how to turn your front yard into a vegetable patch (good, but not good enough); get your town to put solar panels everywhere (better, but not enough) -- but never challenge the corporations that own the politicians who won't pursue meaningful action.

Look at all the trolls!
chrissso21 April 2019
18 reviewers ... 61.1% give this doc a 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 or 10 ... while 38.9% ... 8 total ... give it a one. One cannot help but wonder if they were paid to come here by some organization to slam the doc as it challenged the "Liar In Chief" and the Koch Industries. I am quite sure that they never even took the time to watch it ... let alone write a review it!

Dear trolls ... I got news for you, climate change is very real and if the world does not come together to find ways of rolling back the process the costs to this country and the world are going to be staggering. As a matter of fact, they already are!

I thought this was an exceptional doc that illustrated just how climate change is affecting our country this very day and some of the things local and state entities are doing to prepare as well as curb the process. It should be pointed out that the doc was backed by National Geographic who has always tried to be factual and non-political as well as Bloomberg Philanthropies.

History will not be kind to our "Very Stable Genius." Climate change is a great opportunity for America to lead the world and once again be great ... MAGA. Hopefully our next POTUS will see the opportunity and necessity.

POST: I loved the part about the Associates Degree offered at Iowa Lakes Community College where grads are making up to $90,000. Talk about opportunity!

POST: For more information on the film check out the article titled "Paris to Pittsburgh' film: Climate change doesn't have to divide us" from the December 8, 2018 Detroit Free Press. It was written by Fiona Kelliher.

The fact that the first reviewer goes after "trolls" tell you everything you need to know this is nothing but the taking your rights and freedoms away using a socialist made up agenda , with no or low knowledge of the science behind the earths weather systems. Sedo sceince is the religion of the lefty.
