During the PPV, the commentators kept saying that Raw was leading X - 0 in brand supremacy, even though Team SDLive won the tag team 5 on 5 match during the kickoff show. This is because, reportedly, Raw was supposed to have won that match as well, but that information never got to the participants in that match. During the PPV, Corey Graves occasionally reminded that SDLive won the match on the kickoff show, but to cover, Michael Cole basically said they weren't sure the kickoff show counted. Xavier Woods reminded people of their win on his Twitter feed not long after the PPV had aired, and had "6-1" on his pilgrim outfit on the next SDLive show.

AJ Styles and Becky Lynch were originally scheduled in their respective Champion vs Champion Match, however, both were removed as Becky Lynch was injured during a Raw invasion by the punch of Nia Jax, while AJ Styles lost the WWE Championship, and were replaced by Charlotte Flair and Daniel Bryan
