Missed the change

This film had a lot of potential but it seems that it missed the chance. It literally has no beginning and no ending.

A precious insight into the life of an artist

What a talented and beautiful person Olivier Rousteing is, no wonder why he is so loved by his family, co-workers and friends. Throughout the movie, I felt like hugging him and telling him: you are not the abandoned one, you are the chosen one and you deserve all the best.

Side note: his grandparents are beyond adorable.

Honest, heartfelt a must see

Warning: Spoilers
I could not stop watching the documentary. It was informational about Olivier's artistry, his relentless work in design. No wonder he became the head of Balmain, as the youngest person ever to head a famous house. His own story, having been adopted by the amazing family, the parents and grandparents who adore him and have given him everything. Still, he has been searching for his biological parents, especially for his mother. In my hope He has found her, but by the epilogue, he is still looking. Thank you once again, for creating this terrific documentary.

Trying to creat a subject without subject

When I was watching the film, I felt that I guess Olivier paid for the producers to shoot a film about himself. I haven't seen a film something like that. It is like a fashion movie with hard pushing story. I couldn't believe any moment of the film. Every moment is for Olivier's PR. I felt so silly to watch all film from beginning to end.

Raw

This was done very well, in my opinion. There was one scene in particular that he could have easily taken out because it was very raw, emotional and a lot of people don't want to let people see that, much less strangers. I finished watching this documentary not really thinking about the documentary itself but more so Olivier as a person. It seems like at this moment he doesn't really expect to ever feel happiness or joy in his life because he feels like he will always be searching for answers and I really hope that changes for him. Just another example of how someone can appear to have it all yet it isn't enough. When it showed scenes of him sitting quietly in his house, alone, I kept thinking he needs a puppy. Obviously a pet isn't the answer to all someone's problems and it might seem silly for me to say that to some people but it really is good for a lot of people. He might not even be an animal person, I don't know, but I kept going back to that thought. I'm sure he has lots of fabulous moments in his life because he is after all living his dreams but when you have to sit in your own thoughts, it can be a very different story. Oh, one thing I can say about the documentary itself is I wish more of it would have been in English because I wanted to be able to look at his work more in the moment and his pretty face (yes I said pretty, sorry) but I was having to read words on my tv screen. But that's really no big deal! I hope he is happy with the way it all turned out.
