- The film features strong violence involving scenes of hand to hand combat action, strangulations and intense killings with weapons such as knives, stones etc.
- In the aftermath of a violent act a decomposed corpse is shown with a crushed head, shots of the man's corpse are intrercut with brief shots of his murder which inlcude a rock being smashed into his head and sight of his corpse being set alight - flashback's to his murder are repeated throughout the film including one which contains significant detail. In one scene, the corspe is examined in a medical context - during this scene his internal organs are shown as is his skin which is pulled backwards. There are some shots in which his crushed head is clearly visible from a slight distance although the most detailed close-ups are blurred.

- There is use of mild bad language. There are also verbal references to mental illness.
