Battle of Midway

While not perfect, it is a good concise overview of the battle and key factors in its outcome. A personal annoyance I have with this type of production though is the frequent use of unrelated film footage - e. G. airplanes and ship classes that were not in use at Midway.

I do like the attention it gives to the impact of both preceding events and the battle itself on the population of both Japan and the United States. With all the media paths accessible to us today, we often forget that classic media was also an effective tool to both inform and misinform. The rationale for the post-battle treatment of Yamamoto and Nagumo was insightful.
