A show that is written brilliantly for kids of all ages. It doesn't matter how young or old you are, this programme will have you in stitches. Hilarious, well thought out characters with superb voice over artists of the highest quality. How did they pull such an incredible cast together? Simple, the scripts are fantastic! Great visual gags intermingled with laugh out loud verbal jokes that resonate with the characters in the way that all great sitcoms do. This isn't just a cartoon show, this is a sitcom. If you want to know how to make the whole family laugh, watch Dave Spud. It's a lesson in acting and writing that no classroom could ever teach. Simply brilliant!

A much needed animation in the rubbish world of kids tv

Dave Spud is great, it's odd, it's funny but best of all it's imaginative. When it first aired me and my 2 year old daughter would never miss a show it was an absolute breath of fresh stinky air.

...but I didn't. It has some great actors but the whole is less than the sum of the parts. There wasn't a single laugh in the whole of the first episode; and I do think it was meant to be a comedy. Perhaps I am missing something but I like to think I have a broad sense of humour so I don't think I did; unless the jokes are too 'young' for me.

This is a great show for the whole family. I was skeptical at first, the art style looked well rubish. Once I watched 2 episodes I understood that the art style and writing are what makes this great. I've seen every single episode and every single one made me smile. I wasn't bored or wanted to quit. It's great for the whole family. I just love it, I can't tell you how good this is. It's not rubish, it's Dave Spud

A stupid sense of comedy and terrible art make this a steaming pile of boring. I am surprised everyone is ranting and raving about the comedy, it usually boils down to something like, "Oh no, the dog farted" or "I forgot the can opener."

Terrible humour obviously intended for lower iQ humans, terrible animation which cant get any worse, voice acting is fine, plot and storyline is always dismal, pathetic jokes and just another rubbish title in the now rubbish world of kids TV.

Great cast, great music and so different from other kids shows out there, I absolutely love it.

Each episode is different and unexpected - I never know where they are going to end up next.

I don''t know where to start with Dave Spud it is just brilliant. Sure it can get a bit dark for a U rated show such as the Headmaster letting the Tiger Pigeons kill his previous students to save his own skin, Li'l Sue enslaving a dimension like a tyrant and killing Dave's Girlfriend Chuffy Peaches and the show's main villain Margaret doe feel a little out of place for meant to be in a kid friendly cartoon such as her suprisingly graphic depiction of both animal cruelty and elderly abuse. Though the brainwashing and killing of said elders is also a little bit too much in my opinion for the show at least for younger viewers.

But still the writing, plot and voice acting is top notch and on spot. Alongside Dodo is easily my favourite cartoon.
