WWE Evolution takes place tonight on the WWE Network and surprisingly, the betting odds reveal that no titles will change hands on the show. According to BetWrestling, the three main WWE women’s title matches are all in favor of the champions. Of course, professional wrestling in the WWE is predetermined and that means these odds are always interesting. Closer to the event starting, “smart money” comes in from people who know the results ahead of time. These new WWE Evolution betting odds are from just four hours before the show starts. Just as a note, the negative numbers means a person […]

Welcome to this WWE Evolution preview, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this is the first WWE Pay per View to feature an entire card for their female roster. Let’s take a look at that card and see what we have.
Battle Royal — Winner receives future Women’s Championship Match Asuka vs. Naomi vs. Nia Jax vs. Carmella vs. Ember Moon vs. Billie Kay vs. Peyton Royce vs. Sonya Deville vs. Mandy Rose vs. Lana vs. Zelina Vega vs. Tamina vs. Dana Brooke vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Michelle McCool vs. Alundra Blayze vs. Ivory vs. Molly Holly vs. Kelly Kelly vs. Maria Kanellis
My Take: This will be fine, especially with Alundra/Madusa being involved. Hell, we’ve got Molly Holly again, which ain’t too bad considering we don’t get a lot from her since she retired. Asuka should win this and get the title shot.

WWE has named the announce team for its first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view event, “WWE Evolution.” As you might expect, the mic’d up lineup is also pretty much all-female — save one dude.
Michael Cole, who is considered the voice of WWE, will join Renee Young and Beth Phoenix at the announce table on Sunday. Young, Phoenix (left) and “SmackDown Live” general manager Paige (right) will handle the Kickoff Show festivities.
Charly Caruso and Kayla Braxton will tackle the evening’s red carpet, with Dasha Fuentes, Cathy Kelley and Sarah Schreiber grabbing one-on-one interviews backstage. Ring announcers at “Evolution” include Lilian Garcia, JoJo and Kayla Braxton.

The historic PPV will feature a battle royale and two championship matches. For the red brand, “Raw” Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will defend her title against Nikki Bella.

Welcome to this week’s review of WWE Raw… An episode full of surprises and sadness.
Match #1: Finn Balor def. Bobby Lashley The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
If anyone ever doubted that Finn Bálor is The Extraordinary Man Who Does Extraordinary Things, consider his accomplishment on Raw — perhaps the most unlikely achievement he’s ever recorded: He got Lio Rush to stop talking. How did Finn pull it off? The only way one gets Lio Rush to drop the mic these days: He defeated Bobby Lashley. That, of course, was extraordinary in and of itself, given that The Rocky Mountain-Made Machine’s revamped attitude has rendered him near-unstoppable over the last few weeks, and his constant disrespect of Bálor seemed to be reminiscent of the kind of demoralization that befell Kevin Owens and Tyler Breeze.
As it turns out, Lashley might have been better off not to brush Bálor aside.

This week sees the WWE hold their final Monday Night Raw before the WWE Evolution pay-per-view. This is the first time in WWE history that the company has held a pay-per-view event that only features female superstars. As a result, names from the past will join the women of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown Live and Nxt to put on the big show. At least one of those names from the past will be on hand at Monday Night Raw this week. Who will be on WWE Monday Night Raw tonight? PWInsider reports that Lita will appear on Monday Night Raw […]

When the WWE announced their WWE Evolution pay-per-view, two names announced as returning were Trish Stratus and Lita — both WWE Hall of Fame superstars and both former women’s champions. Both wrestlers returned at the Royal Rumble this year and took part in the women’s Rumble match, with Stratus as one of the final competitors. However, after Monday Night Raw tonight, the WWE has clearly changed directions on what they planned to do with the two superstars. Originally, it was supposed to be Trish Stratus vs. Alexa Bliss and Mickey James vs. Lita at WWE Evolution. However, after the four women had a […]
