Everything told in the film is based on real life experiences by the director.
The soundtrack was recorded live by Alberto Rodilla (aka Al Pagoda) and Berend Intelmann at Parka Sound studio in Kreuzberg, Berlin. They played synths, Balinese gamelan, moog minotaur, drums and wood boxes.
The first cut had a 40 minutes run time. The director spent two months editing during Covid-19 lock-down, until getting the final 16 minutes cut.
Shot in five Asian countries for three years.
Heavily influenced by Chris Marker's Sans Soleil (1983).
